Hello everyone! Today I received the Deepcool AK400 air cooler to install it on an AM4 system with a Ryzen 1600AF processor with a 65 watt TDP, which I have running at a stable clock speed of 3.700GHz with 1.225 volts. I replaced the old cooler with the new Deepcool and the results are very good, I must say. I ran some tests to compare and I am very satisfied. With the old cooler, after 10 minutes of the Aida64 FPU test at full load, the temperature reached 69 degrees. With the Deepcool, running the same test for 15 minutes, it never exceeded 60 degrees. The room temperature was normal, around 9 degrees with an open window. It was also very quiet, at first I thought it wasn't working because I couldn't hear the fan making any noise even when it reached 60 degrees. It's a great cooling solution for the price, at 42 euros, and it arrived quickly within 3 days of ordering. I should mention that the tests were done using Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste, one of the best pastes for CPUs on the market. Additionally, the installation is very easy and it fits in almost all Midrange cases, and the white color makes it look even nicer, I like it

Did you find this review helpful?Well, the cooler is very nice, the installation is relatively easy, but it's not suitable for overclocking. First of all, I should mention that the air-flow in my case is well-designed, with a total of 4 case fans at the right speeds in appropriate positions. And all my CPUs are overclocked to theoretically maximum values (not extreme OC, that is). I had a 10th generation i7K and the classic Arctic Freezer Esports duo, and in idle mode, it was 32-35 degrees Celsius. I upgraded to an 11th generation i7K and with this specific cooler, I'm consistently at 48-52 degrees in idle mode (!), the CPU-z stress test (which is not the best) raises it to 60-62 degrees with full-speed profile on all fans. If you play games at night and want quietness, this one might not give it to you because it easily increases the maximum speeds. Also, I think in unrelated phases something happens and there is a barely noticeable murmuring for 2-3 seconds. The Arctic Freezer is clearly quieter. I will try a couple more coolers and decide whether to keep it or not. If I keep it, it will be solely because it looks exceptional.
UPDATE: I replaced the fan with one from NZXT that has a very good CFM value and upgraded the thermal paste to a higher quality one, and now I'm averaging at 36-38 degrees.
