It smells like oil and doesn't go away after 30 days of airing out. TERRIBLE QUALITY, FOR THE TRASH. It is advertised as having the highest standards, and it smells like oil, which from what I quickly researched indicates raw materials or poor processing during production. The smell of oil is often associated with residues of solvents or plasticizers that were not properly removed during the manufacturing process. Additionally, it may be due to thermal degradation of the material during production, which intensifies the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

THEREFORE, WHILE it is advertised as meeting the HIGHEST standards, the strong smell of oil proves the opposite. This raises serious questions about the quality of the product and the control processes before it reaches the consumer.

Two years ago, I bought THE SAME product FROM THE SAME COMPANY, and the experience was much better. The quality of the EVA then was clearly superior, with no unpleasant smell, which proves that quality can vary dramatically, even within the same type of product.
