The latest installment in the Pokémon™ series, Pokémon Violet, is coming to the Nintendo Switch system. As the main character, you can explore an open world at your own pace and encounter the legendary Pokémon Miraidon. In this game, you can enjoy the iconic adventures of the Pokémon series, such as battling wild Pokémon and trying to catch them! Choose Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokémon, Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon, or Quaxly, the Duckling Pokémon, to be your first Pokémon partner before embarking on your journey in this new region.

Very good, I like it, it just made it difficult for me as the first Pokémon game I'm playing after Pokémon Go
Compared to Scarlet, it gets stuck in many more places, while Scarlet gets stuck in a specific spot on the map. Other than that, the story is exactly the same, no difference, apart from the exclusive Pokémon. The price, like in all Switch games, is steep
My friend and I got the Violet and Scarlet, and the adventure is excellent, open world to go wherever you want and we play online together constantly.
Well, one of the worst Pokémon games ever released, the game is a complete disappointment. 1. You play with low fps. 2. The new generation is shiny locked and the legendary Pokémon from the shrines (I'm not talking about Miraidon Koraidon, those are relatively complete) are completely useless. 3. You waste fifty bucks for nothing and it doesn't remind you of Pokémon at all. These are my overall thoughts, it's just mediocre.
Unfortunately, the glitchy graphics made me dizzy (motion sickness) and I couldn't play much. I gave it to a friend and got something else
Normally it is for 3.5 stars... it doesn't have such good graphics and sometimes it gives the feeling that it lags... good story, the gimmick of this tape I didn't like at all and generally it wasn't difficult... my opinion is that sw/sh are better! (My time in the game is 70 something hours)
The game undoubtedly has several problems but at the same time it also does many things right. However, no matter what, if you buy this game you will enjoy the time you spend with it.
It is with great certainty one of the worst Nintendo games.
- It is full of bugs and serious functionality issues. Glitches, freezes, black screens, and crashes. It doesn't run above 20fps.
- The gameplay is annoyingly easy once again. Especially the final battles are easier than the rest of the game. Objects are available everywhere, no effort to find them.
- Nintendo Germany, from which we bought the online shop copy, does not recognize any problem, despite thousands of comments and hundreds of articles worldwide, and rejects any compensation request, using the excuse of the hours we played the game, thus it functions.
- Almost 4 months later and they have released an update that didn't fix anything at all.
Bad performance, but the good gameplay overshadows it, the gimmick is very good as far as PvP is concerned, but the design is awful. It's a shame that it doesn't have all the Pokemon like the rest in recent years, it's a rushed game that seems half-finished and soon enough there will be a DLC release as we have seen before.
The next step in pokemon games, 4 stars due to performance issues and low frame rates. Good storyline, interesting new pokemon, and terastallize may seem a bit "meh" but for competitive/rank types, it brings a new tool that opens up many options in team combos
It is not worth it at all, no matter how big of a fan you are. Stay away from this terrible Pokémon game. When and if game freak and Nintendo decide to fix it through an update, we can discuss it again. Until then, just no
I am a fan of Pokémon from red and blue. After Arceus, I was expecting something similar. The game is a sword and shield with a larger world and bad multiplayer. The aging switch console did not allow the game to evolve (frame rate drops, bugs, etc.). I believe that the best Pokémon game for the switch is sword and shield
It is an epic game with a huge map and countless wars. It also has endless battles, you won't get bored
Generally, I am a Pokémon fan from gen 1, but having played Arceus and Sword, this game feels like taking one step forward and two steps back. Its multiplayer requires friends to be used (unlike Sword where you could see other players online).
The graphics are full of glitches (non game-breaking) and experience crazy frame rate drops (especially when it's raining and you're in water).
The system remains mostly the same as old gens, borrowing a few elements from the excellent Arceus. You can remember old moves without cost, for example, but you can't evolve Gengar without trading.
Overall, as a pokefan, I enjoy it, but it's not as good as Sword in terms of multiplayer and as Arceus in terms of in-game mechanics...
The game is amazing! It has some bugs from what I read on the internet, but in handheld mode, I didn't experience anything strange. It is very beautiful, has beautiful colors, a very interesting lore and story, characters with personality, and the best part is that the storyline is related to the legendary! I will also buy Pokemon Scarlet when I can because it truly deserves it, they really worked for this game and did their best. I thought that after legends Arceus, they wouldn't be able to do something even remotely good compared to Arceus, but I was wrong, I love legends Arceus, and Pokemon Violet pleasantly surprised me!
The game has too many bugs and its graphics are unacceptable considering that the Pokémon franchise is worth billions. However, I hope that gamefreak will patch them in the future. Overall, I found the gameplay to be very entertaining!
The absolute disgrace for a production by Gamefreak/Creatures to release a game with bugs, glitches, and unstable frame rate.
It is very sad that in the pursuit of profit, games are released without being complete, simply because developers can improve it later with 1-2 patches (if this abomination of a game can even be improved) and because it has to be released before the holidays.
It's not worth your money. It's not even worth opening for loyal and quality gamers.
1.
I had pre-ordered it and started Day One. Unfortunately, it has too many bugs and glitches, with the main one being the FPS dropping to a point where the movement of NPCs is intermittent. A week later and nothing has been done to fix it.
The way you progress the story has improved a lot. Instead of Quests between Gyms, it has the following Quests: 5 Bosses of the evil team (Team Star), 5 Titan Bosses (basically fighting a big Pokemon in a cave), and the 8 Badges as always. You can do them in any order you want. Also, Wild Battles have significantly improved. You can easily avoid them, your Pokemon can attack while walking, and the levels of the Wild Pokemon are balanced, so you don't have to grind XP for hours. On the negative side, the introduction was boring until you start a Quest, and in terms of graphics/textures/fps, it was done very hastily. I hope they will be fixed with future updates. Another subjective complaint is that they haven't introduced a new Type yet, as Steel has many resistances and the balance needs to be addressed.
