I have bought the same product 3 times because after 1 year the ropes get cut, but it served me well for my balcony so I bought it again. I used it to hang clothes 2-3 times a week and closed it as soon as they dried. I had placed it in a spot where the sun barely hit it.

I had constructed metal bases specially designed to hold both the base and the end of it because in the first one I bought, after about a year, the plastic base broke at the point where I placed it on the wall, rendering it useless.

Finally, when opening and closing it, in one row the rope is very loose and in the other row it is very tight, resulting in it not closing properly and not all the ropes being correctly stretched. This happened with all 3 clotheslines.

In conclusion, I consider it convenient for its price as it does not take up space and does not look bad on a balcony, as long as you keep in mind that you will need to buy a new one once a year.
