Addictive!
It easily stuns you with the instructions (especially if you come from more simple/abstract games), but it definitely deserves the time you will dedicate to it!
In the one and a half months we've had it, most of the time we lose, but we hurry to get ready for the next round.
If you have friends who aren't really into board games/get bored easily, you might find it hard to convince them, and I wouldn't recommend it for children under 12 years old (because it requires some patience in learning and adhering to several "rules" in the game).
Everything fits perfectly with the rules of "life."
As for the materials, somewhat uneven mix (especially for the price), if we hadn't gotten so hooked I would have taken away a star. Very nice illustrations, but it would be good to have a somewhat better box/cases and a sturdier card material, since you shuffle often. For the first, there are quite a few after-market inserts, and not expensive, but I believe that for the work that has been done in the game it could contain better, because the materials are many and varied.
It requires quite a bit of patience at first with the rules, but it is worth it and then some as we are talking about a well-crafted and beautiful cooperative strategy game with many scenarios as well as the option to create your own scenario and play.
Excellent game that differs greatly from other board games. The fact that you have to cooperate to overcome the dangers of the Paleolithic era makes the game extremely entertaining. The cards and the board "immerse" you in the world while the risks involved create anxiety and twists. At first, you may be intimidated by the number of cards and the game setup, but don't be discouraged. The instructions are clear, but even if they confuse you, a video on YouTube will quickly solve any doubts.
It is a quite demanding game as you have to harmonize your moves with the other players and think carefully about the next steps. Your haste costs you a whole game quickly.
We usually play with two people and most of the time we lose rather than win. However, our appetite for the game is not diminished at all as it is addictive.
For those who want to protect the cards - which, I must emphasize, are many (240) - they should get the green cases from Kaissa or other similar-sized ones.
Excellent cooperative game, with a strong theme. Ideal for 3 players.
Each scenario is played quite quickly, within 1 hour, including setup.
It is quite challenging, with a 50-50 chance for the team to win/lose.
Although the scenarios are specific, you don't get bored even if you have played the same ones before.
