The book: The animals gather in the forest to elect a leader. The mouse, the cat, the dog, the wolf, the fox, and the lion are candidates. Each boasts of its talents and believes it is better than the others for this position. Just when everyone is convinced that the lion deserves to be the leader, the huge elephant appears and claims to be unbeatable, stronger than it! But what happened that made a tiny creature, just the size of your little fingernail, prove that neither the elephant nor any other animal should have a high opinion of themselves and that everyone has their own unique abilities? The series: To ensure children have a healthy social life founded on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, understand, and feel things the same way another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books in this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the approach recommended for parents and educators, they attempt to initiate children into seeing the world through others' eyes, after first learning to recognize and manage their own emotions. The author: Yolanda Tsoroni-Georgiadis is a graduate of the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, the Department of Education of the University of Athens, and has further education at the Marasleio Teaching School. She worked for many years in public education, writes articles in pedagogical magazines, volunteers in organizations for the promotion of literature, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published many books for children, novels for adults, and studies of folklore content.

Second book by the same author, unique illustration, very nice meaning and topic for discussion with children. It deals with diversity and the importance of being open to change and moving forward! I will definitely get more! We have been reading it since the age of 2.5 and the children themselves ask for it (and the hero out of love)
