Below half a kilo of shower gel, I have left a detailed review for the reasons why this shower gel is the best out of all the ones I have tried, both natural and non-natural. However, when I was close to finishing the half-kilo, I bought the one-kilo packaging. I have been so disappointed though. My experience is completely opposite to the first one.
First of all, I checked the ingredients and they are the same in both packages. The only visual difference is the color. In my first package (the half-kilo one), the shower gel was a soft translucent purple, while in the second one, it was a soft translucent pink. Initially, I considered it completely insignificant and random (maybe it is).
The huge difference was in the performance, obviously. It feels like I used a completely different shower gel. The feeling of the first package was very gentle on the skin and noticeably relieving, like a balm. You felt that it was a high-quality shower gel. The feeling of the second package is like any silicone-based shower gel from the supermarket, with cheap ingredients and a strong scent (this specific shower gel doesn't actually have a strong scent), but it leaves me with the exact same burning sensation while I'm washing (and afterwards) as the shower gels with a strong scent.
It generally causes allergies, especially in closed areas (under the armpits, under the breasts, and between the thighs). After a short while, it causes redness, mild burning, and tingling at the same time.
Lastly, it doesn't clean as deeply as the first one. It truly behaves like a common cheap shower gel.
I honestly don't know what to say. I liked the first one so much, I planned to make it my permanent shower gel. Now, I'm afraid to buy it again in case it turns out like the second package.
Update July 6, 2024:
I have bought 2 half-kilo packages and unfortunately, they are disappointing. None of them is like the first one, and I feel certain that something in the composition has changed along with the packaging. The first one (which had a translucent purple color in the previous packaging) was the best shower gel I have ever tried in my life, by far. The other 3 packages (with a pearly pink color and a new packaging) that I tried afterwards are a complete disappointment for the reasons I mentioned above.
