The Izzy Milano 6616S features a 1.5lt water tank and an Aroma Control function to adjust the intensity of the coffee. It is also equipped with a warming plate to keep the coffee hot in the glass carafe, and thanks to its small size, it will comfortably fit on the kitchen counter along with other household appliances.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Given that it is a cheap coffee maker, I would say it is worth its money. However, the coffee preparation is a bit slow. Of course, the worst problem for me is that you have to turn the water pipe to "face" the water container in order to fill the coffee maker with water and then return it to the front position so that the water falls into the filter. The issue is that it is often forgotten, resulting in water dripping into the water compartment and the coffee never being made.
It worked for 2 weeks and then it stopped working. You press the button and it doesn't open.
I have it since I was a student. Overall, 8 years. I bought it for 20+€. It is a machine that makes French coffee easily and quickly. Obviously, it doesn't make the best coffee. But every time I bought expensive coffee, it always turned out better. If you are a coffee snob, get something more expensive. If you just want a cup of coffee, get this one. Every time I needed coffee, this machine made it for me. I don't know if my review is objective because I am probably emotionally attached to the machine.
DO NOT BUY IT... unless you like the taste and smell of plastic!!
Even after using and cleaning it with everything necessary, the condition did not change.
It smells very plastic!!!! I hope it goes away with use because it is very strong and it transfers to the coffee
I had it for 4 years, last winter it broke down. Overall, compared to the Bosch Filter Coffee Maker 1100W White that I bought a month ago, I believe the izzy milano is much better. For its price, it produced a decent coffee with a nice aroma. In comparison, the Bosch coffee maker doesn't have any aroma at all. Until it broke down, I didn't encounter any issues, maybe I should have descaled it more often. Its construction may not be visually appealing, but it is quite good and durable. (Maybe I was lucky because I see in the reviews there are many complaints about malfunctions in new machines.)
In less than a month from the purchase, it stopped working with minimal use. It concerns the Milano model. The power button was not functioning. It was replaced with the creme model. They are rated well in terms of appearance. However, they have negative aspects. The time they keep the coffee hot is short, they prepare the coffee very quickly, but I wouldn't say it is aromatic. Definitely use its own dosimeter, otherwise the coffee is colored water. I do not recommend someone to buy it. It's a shame because I expected a higher quality product from the company.
I bought it as a coffee maker for my country house. Having experience with a coffee maker in the 80 euro category, unfortunately, it was a waste of money. Non-existent flavors in the coffee.
After almost 1 year of use, the mechanism does not draw water, I also did maintenance for the salts every 3 months, but still it failed... better an unknown brand with 10 euros that I had before and lasted 7 years.
Unfortunately, it is not a good choice.
I have bought the same model twice within a year.
And both times, the power button broke.
I have had it for nine months and the power button broke.
The unpleasant thing is that the dealership does not cover the transportation costs for replacement, and I, being from the countryside, have to send it to the store in Athens. I have to pay for the shipping of the new coffee machine as well.
4 minutes for 2 cups of coffee. Good waiting time. The construction materials seem average, like almost all coffee makers at this price range. The better you work with a product, the more it will withstand, though, so it's okay. The coffee has aroma, although it could be better since there is a function for "more" aroma.
The first one I bought lasted for several years, but the second one I got didn't work, but they replaced it for me... Overall, it is a user-friendly coffee maker and for its price, it is good, but based on other users' comments, I think they often come out defective..
The first time I bought it, I was satisfied, although it didn't make coffee quickly, but it generally did its job. However, over time it burned out. I bought it a second time and it lasted less than before.
I have had it for 6-7 years for sure and it was great. It made perfect coffee, quickly, and it was very cheap. Now it started to take 20 minutes for one coffee and it comes out half full, but still I will buy it again
After about 1 year, it broke. It burns the coffee and takes 30 minutes to make it. At first, it was relatively good but after about 8 months, the problems started.
Purchased 3 months ago, used very little (counted times, at most 9-10). Nice appearance, easy to use, but.... The power button broke, with minimal use and without any clumsy handling. Additionally, a disadvantage is that it doesn't stay open as long as you want to keep the coffee warm for hours, but it closes on its own. Now let's see if the warranty actually covers the damage... I will come back with updates.
It worked for 2 months max and then I pressed the switch and it didn't work. Finally, they told me that the circuit board burned out. Money wasted unfortunately..
My parents have bought this coffee maker three times (I don't know why they insist on the same model, it doesn't make sense honestly) and all three times it has stopped working within a few months. Meanwhile, they bought it for the price of 30 euros as they live in the countryside and prices there are monopolistic. I do not recommend it...
It broke in a very short period of time. The heating element did not work and it stopped pulling water. Useless.
It broke quickly within 2-3 months of moderate use, with the tube not sucking up water to produce coffee. Additionally, many times when I opened it just to keep the coffee warm in the pot, the surface did not heat up. Spend a little more money for something better
For the money, it's fine. It makes coffee relatively quickly. For those who want to buy a coffee maker at a low price, this one is just right. Just in the first few uses, the plastic smells.
Very good coffee maker. Makes coffee quickly. It takes about 10-15 uses for it to stop smelling like "plastic". Very good for its price.
I have had it for over 5 years and so have 2 friends whom I recommended it to.
It hasn't had any issues, it is completely silent and makes very good coffee.
I highly recommend it!
Plastic taste. No coffee flavor. The whole house smells like plastic. You feel like you're drinking pure plastic. I've made coffee over 100 times hoping the smell would go away, nothing. I've washed it countless times with soap, vinegar, baking soda, and still nothing. It has made me disgusted with coffee. Okay, we get it, it's cheap, I didn't expect it to make good coffee, but at least make coffee, even if it's bad. Not plastic. I'm going to throw it in the trash right now and let this be a lesson for me to read reviews before buying something. UNACCEPTABLE
In two months, it broke.
I am lucky that I didn't get electrocuted, since I had water (it was unplugged) and when I turned it on, there was smoke and sparks. The irreversible damage caused all the water to leak onto the bottom level of the machine where the connections are. I should note that I had only used it four times. It is dangerous for the house
If I could leave a review without any stars, I would. I won't mention the quality of the coffee. I will only say that within 10 days, the coffee maker developed a leakage problem and it leaked ALL the water I put in for brewing coffee underneath it.
It was replaced by the store after we informed them about the incident with a new coffee maker about a week ago.
AS SOON as it emptied again from leakage, all the contents from the "chamber" where you put water to make coffee...
Money wasted.
From the first moment, it smells strongly of plastic when it operates, resulting in a terrible taste of the coffee.... What concerns me is how healthy this is - Obviously, plastic is being released, so it is probably carcinogenic... I left it for several months, thinking that the plastic smell was because it was new, but not even close... After 10 months, same issues...
The power indicator light turns off on its own, resulting in the coffee in the carafe getting cold if you leave it for later...
6 days of use and it leaked... Plastic, of course it's expected with its price but for it to break in the first week is tragic
