I got it through Skroutz. It had a sound problem after 2-3 months. The volume would go up or down on its own for no reason. I returned it under warranty for repair. The response was something like "we reset it to factory settings, it worked for 48 hours and did not show any problems," so they are sending it back to me without repair. I am trying to figure it out by calling around (from service to service) but I don't think I will get anywhere. I will not approach such products again.

I had bought the TV for 430 euros a few months ago. A very beautiful addition to any part of the house as it is very beautiful. As for the panel where it is and the reason I bought it, I have to say that it gives a very beautiful result for its category with very nice colors and excellent resolution up to 55 inches. The sound is just OK mainly in volume. It comes with two different types of remote controls. It works with Google software, which will make your multimedia use (Netflix, Spotify, etc.) seamless. As for the negatives now... It does not have the best response, many times you will see it lagging even when adjusting the volume. I knew this from other reviews before making the purchase, but I knew I would use it through a console (PlayStation 5). Also, the TV does not work with Apple's AirPlay, which may be insignificant for many, but for me, it sometimes makes my life difficult because I needed it in the past.
A general review for TCL:
It is worth its money if you know what you are buying. You pay quite a bit less than a similarly performing TV, but you lose some privileges such as connectivity with Apple devices, processor speed, and a bit of sound. However, compared to a TV of similar price, you win with the very beautiful panel that the Chinese have put on it. The television overall had good picture quality, nice sound, and its positive aspect was that it had Google TV, which is hard to find with these features at this price. Unfortunately, its menu was relatively slow, but you can't have it all at this price. Two to three days after activation, white spots were noticed in the middle of the screen when viewed from a closer distance (not visible from the couch). It was sent back and a refund was issued as it was determined by the service that it was defective. After reading that TCL does not have a representation in Greece, we did not attempt to purchase the same or another TCL. However, at the current price of €470, I definitely would not prefer it, as the new Hisense (€499) that we purchased is far superior in picture quality and has a faster menu response, even if it is vidaa and not Google Play.

Did you find this review helpful? I give it 4 stars for two reasons. Firstly, it has an issue with black colors, as it tends to wash out in dark scenes. Secondly, the menu is fairly user-friendly but sometimes it can lag a bit.
Other than that, it has a very good construction, nice viewing angles, and a beautiful vibrant image. I don't have an opinion on the sound as it is connected to a home cinema.
For gaming, it is also excellent with very low response time and truly 60fps.
I consider it a very worthwhile choice for casual/gaming use considering its price.

The comment is for gamers who are looking for a low-mid budget TV for next-gen consoles. Response time: 12-14 ms @ 4k/60Hz. When it detects the console, VRR/dolby vision/ALLM automatically activate, reducing the resolution to 1440p with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a response time of 5-6ms. Games that support 120fps will leave you speechless. Ideal for racing games but not lacking in action adventure/FPS RPG games. Personally, I prefer the c635 over the newer c645 because the blacks are more intense due to slightly lower brightness than the c645. The panel is VA LED, not full array local dimming, and for me, it's not worth buying for a cinematic experience. HOWEVER, both models will perform flawlessly on the PS5 & Series X. The c6 series is ideal for gaming. Finally, the 55" will impress you in games. It comes in 43", 50", 55", 65", and 75" sizes

Purchased on 6/7/2023, mainly because it had many positive reviews on Skroutz, mainly for movies and streaming, so I wouldn't have to use my computer and my 27-inch screen...
Positives:
1) Image quality
2) Viewing angle
3) Connected to WiFi, it reaches 44Down and 5Up on a 50Mbps connection.Negatives:
1) Average sound quality... It gets muffled, especially in the bass...
2) Slow response... It takes one or two seconds (rarely less, rarely more) to execute commands from the remote control, which is quite annoying!
3) In the pre-installed apps (Netflix), everything is fine... If you download other apps from the PlayStore, like Twitch for streaming... It doesn't like it much (watching videos, the problem is fixed if I lower the resolution to 480p).Overall, I think I wasted €450, because I don't think I'll keep it for much longer, since it can't do the job I bought it for!
If you only watch TV and Netflix and have the patience to give commands from the remote control and wait for it to respond, I believe it's worth it (if you also get a soundbar). Coming from the TCL model in c725 which broke, I switched to this c635 model and the image is amazing, especially if you watch a 4K movie. Otherwise, with Greek channels that are barely HD, it can't be fully utilized sometimes on a 4K TV.
2. The sound is very good with crystal clear audio and good bass. You don't need to turn it up past 18 unless you're deaf.
3. It has endless functions in terms of functionality, including a ton of movies from the TCL channel.
4. When you get it, adjust the screen to your liking and at first it may be slow until it receives the necessary upgrades in the first few days that you connect it to the internet. Compared to other brands, it's half the price!

This is the second TCL TV I've gotten in a row. The first one (50 UHD) had a thin vertical green line. Luckily, I noticed it two months before the warranty expired and they took it back and gave me a refund.
Now, with the 55, the picture is amazing. The sound is great for movies and regular use, but if you want clarinets, it may not satisfy you. The menu, although supposed to be newer than the 50-inch one I had, is a bit poor. You can't move anything, you can't put any of the apps you've installed in the basic quick start windows, only on the small bar, which I find annoying.
The worst thing I've found, while we're talking about a Google TV, is that Chrome doesn't work at all! It has some other stupid, misused browsers in the store, but not Chrome! Come on.
I only use the small Bluetooth remote control, which is very convenient.
The voice search is terrible, 9/10 times it just opens YouTube. You have to do 60 experiments to find your friends on Netflix. And you don't say "play Friends on Netflix." No, you say Friends, and if you're lucky, it will give you the option to open it on Netflix.
In conclusion, as a TV, it's amazing so far. The menu is mediocre. But if it has a defect again, I won't buy TCL again for any reason. I hope I helped.

- Does not support Timeshift live recording function
* There is an issue with Netflix - in my case, it was resolved by following these steps:
1. Activate Quick Start (even if you already have this option on, turn it off and then turn it on again)
2. Turn off the TV (hold the power button on the remote control for 5 seconds and select "yes" or "ok" to confirm turning off, then unplug the TV. After 10-15 seconds, plug in the power cord again)
3. Turn on the TV
4. Allow the GTV UI to load completely
5. Turn off the TV using the remote control button (but not completely, just put it in quick start standby mode with a short click)
6. Turn the TV back on using the button on the remote
7. Play the movie or series with Dolby Vision
