Regarding the fragrance that some people speak negatively about, it is natural = citronella = what did you expect? It is logical to smell like citronella...
As for effectiveness, it definitely did the job, but still, we experienced family attacks, unfortunately.
As for the duration, I believe it's like sunscreen...
In the summer, you take a bath = sunscreen goes away = you reapply!
The same goes for insect repellent, in the summer you sweat = insect repellent goes away = you reapply!
Nowadays, with the new diseases caused by mosquitoes (see West Nile disease, which had several cases in 2018), something more drastic is required, which unfortunately does not always align with the friendliness of the respective product for all skin types...
I do recommend it, but our wallet hurts... Show us some leniency!

I used it for a while and I was very satisfied, no irritation, no bites, personally I didn't find the scent strong. After a while, I realized that the product contains parabens, which is only mentioned on the cardboard box of the packaging. It is unacceptable to promote a product that contains parabens as suitable for children and unfortunately, it is not the only one.   My family and I have been using Garden of Panthenols for a while and I was very satisfied, but unfortunately it is only available in a few pharmacies and when I ran out, I couldn't find it. Since I had to take my 18-month-old child to the playground, I went to my friend who is a pharmacist and asked for his honest opinion on what is best for my second child. He told me that they say crilen is the best option, although it is also the most expensive. However, he also recommended repel, which he uses himself and is clearly cheaper. He told me that his customers are equally satisfied with it, but for such a young child, I should be careful with the amount I apply. Instinctively, I chose crilen. Unfortunately, that night the child had several mosquito bites, while I had none. The same thing happened the next day. I went and bought repel on the third day and since then everything has been fine. Unfortunately, it didn't work for my child and I do not recommend it. On the contrary, repel did a very good job.
