Self-Polishing Antifouling Paint - MuraVia

The Lixiviante by Titan is a self-polishing antifouling paint that does not accumulate, biologically active throughout its lifespan. It can be applied directly over the majority of old antifouling paints that are in good condition, ensuring a smooth surface and smoother sailing.

• Thinning: YATE Diluyente

• Application surfaces: Hulls - submerged surfaces - polyester, wood boats, etc., properly prepared.
• Application tools: Brush, roller.
• Recommended dry thickness: 70-80 microns dry film (2 coats)
• Application conditions: at a temperature between 10 ºC - 30 ºC

Instructions:

Mix the product well. The surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, and salt-free.

New surfaces:

Properly prepare the surface with TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer or TITAN YATE Epoxy Primer M-150 for osmosis protection. Apply the antifouling within 12-24 hours after the last primer coat.

Maintenance of already painted surfaces in good condition:

The antifouling paint can be applied directly over the majority of old antifouling paints that are well-maintained, after the surface has been thoroughly washed with water. Do not apply over hard antifouling paints. If the type of old antifouling paint is unknown, the use of Barrier Aluminum Primer as an intermediate layer is recommended.

Maintenance of already painted surfaces in poor condition:

Remove the old antifouling paints with Titan Decapante Antifouling Paint Remover.
