Regarding the fragrance that some people speak negatively about, it is natural = citronella = what did you expect? It is logical to smell like citronella...
As for effectiveness, it definitely did the job, but still, we experienced family attacks, unfortunately.
As for the duration, I believe it's like sunscreen...
In the summer, you take a bath = sunscreen goes away = you reapply!
The same goes for insect repellent, in the summer you sweat = insect repellent goes away = you reapply!
Nowadays, with the new diseases caused by mosquitoes (see West Nile disease, which had several cases in 2018), something more drastic is required, which unfortunately does not always align with the friendliness of the respective product for all skin types...
I do recommend it, but our wallet hurts... Show us some leniency!
I don't even know why they recommend it for babies. It has an unbearable scent and if you come across an area with many mosquitoes, they bite regularly!
Very strong smell. If you leave even a small spot without applying the mosquito repellent, the child will get bitten. Also, it is very expensive for a mosquito repellent. I don't understand why everyone, absolutely everyone, buys the crilen as if there is nothing else. Overrated.
Effective product. Unfortunately, it contains Parabens; I didn't believe that this company would use such substances, I trusted them. It is worth noting that the ingredients are only listed on the box and not on the tube. I never bought it again; I have consumed many tubes for about a decade now
I buy it every year and we use it as a family, from infants to grandparents. It even works for the most "sweet-blooded" people. If strong scents bother you, get something else.
I don't go anywhere without this when the summer vampires wake up. more convenient compared to mousse for the men who have hair. so I go out with this and I come out clean. of course, also for kids
Very good! We found ourselves in a place with countless mosquitoes and a baby! We put it in the baby's stroller and on us, and they didn't come near us!
I bought it for my 12-month-old baby and although I always read the ingredients, this time I made a mistake because I listened to the recommendations of pharmacists who promote it as suitable for children and infants. I used it for a while and I was very satisfied, no irritation, no bites, personally I didn't find the scent strong. After a while, I realized that the product contains parabens, which is only mentioned on the cardboard box of the packaging. It is unacceptable to promote a product that contains parabens as suitable for children and unfortunately, it is not the only one. It's a shame because otherwise it was fine, but I don't use parabens on myself, let alone on my child.
We use it as a family, one repetition is good after 2-3 hours. I have been buying it since my daughter was a baby and now she is 4 years old. I have tried others, but I don't change this one
We bought it for the kids. It requires repetitions. It is quite expensive for the quantity it contains. If it is not on sale, you are better off with something else
Our little one has a very high sensitivity, when she gets bitten by mosquitoes, she gets big welts. With Crilen, we have been saved, it just needs full coverage, to be applied on all exposed skin.
The best mosquito repellent there is. Yes, it has a strong smell (not unpleasant for my taste), but we were a group and we were the only ones who didn't get bitten by mosquitoes.
Steady value for the summer, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who don't like the smell of citronella. It's a safe choice for a 5-hour period and for children.
I have an allergy to mosquitoes (I get big welts). It has saved me and is now the only thing I can tolerate the smell of. Also, it doesn't bother me when there are residues on my hands.
I buy them for my child but if I happen to use them myself. Very effective. Personally, I'm not crazy about the scent but everyone tells me they smell very nice compared to other insect repellents. The only downside is their expensive price.
It does not have a strong scent like the cream, but it does not provide the same protection as the corresponding cream! However, it is effective compared to others, but it needs more frequent renewal.
It is convenient to carry. Besides that, I also consider it to be healthier for the skin than other products on the market against mosquitoes, because of the brand that promotes it, of course. But it is not as effective against bites. Use it in combination with another insect repellent such as a bracelet or tablet. I don't think that on its own it provides absolute protection. I still get bitten daily despite using it, both indoors where there are not many insects and outdoors where there is almost no vegetation. So its effectiveness is moderate.
Overall, very good for everyone, it's just very expensive. It cost 13 euros at the pharmacy for this small tube, so because of this fact, I don't know if I will choose it again.
My family and I have been using Garden of Panthenols for a while and I was very satisfied, but unfortunately it is only available in a few pharmacies and when I ran out, I couldn't find it. Since I had to take my 18-month-old child to the playground, I went to my friend who is a pharmacist and asked for his honest opinion on what is best for my second child. He told me that they say crilen is the best option, although it is also the most expensive. However, he also recommended repel, which he uses himself and is clearly cheaper. He told me that his customers are equally satisfied with it, but for such a young child, I should be careful with the amount I apply. Instinctively, I chose crilen. Unfortunately, that night the child had several mosquito bites, while I had none. The same thing happened the next day. I went and bought repel on the third day and since then everything has been fine. Unfortunately, it didn't work for my child and I do not recommend it. On the contrary, repel did a very good job.
It is the only brand, but with a scent, however, I am more satisfied. We all put it in the house and I have had it for 5 and a half years since I gave birth. I have also tried the unscented one, unfortunately, I was not satisfied at all. In the 8 hours we had many mosquitoes bite us, while now after an 8-hour period, it is certain that if we don't put it again...
Excellent product. Because I experience severe allergic reactions to mosquito bites, I have to use an insect repellent product every day after 4 pm. I have tried many in all forms (stick, spray, cream), and this one is by far the best! It absorbs quickly, does not weigh down the skin, and actually keeps it moisturized. Frezyderm proves once again that it is a very good pharmaceutical company.
I can't say that I was particularly satisfied with the effectiveness or the duration. It didn't protect me much from mosquitoes, they just bit me less. However, the wipes are very practical for carrying in a bag, and the scent of the product was very pleasant (compared to others).
Classic tried and tested product for children and not only. They like the smell, even though it is strong during application. This summer it was the only cream that had an effect, along with another brand.
