I wore them on my 2023 Honda NC750X DCT that I bought with 6,000 km. From the start, it betrayed me in the city; the front brake wouldn't stop, and the ABS kicked in. Then the worst came. I've never ridden on a worse and more dangerous tire in my life. I lost control twice while leaning in a turn; I saw the front wheel and struggled to bring it back. I had 12,000 km on it before I threw it away immediately. It still had plenty of tread, but it was sliding dangerously. It doesn't heat up easily; it has a hard compound that may have some wear resistance, but it lacks grip. As soon as I changed tires, I saw a transformation in my riding. I was riding a completely different motorcycle. I consider this tire to be a stopgap solution; it will get you through the first 6,000 km with relative safety, but then it becomes dangerous. In the summer, it performed well until September. As soon as the weather tightened and the humidity started, the difference became apparent. I would never put it on again. I spoke with riders who had it on their Honda motorcycles in various versions, CB500 and NC, and I heard exactly the same comments. The front becomes extremely dangerous as soon as it wears down a bit; the rear slides, but not as early.
Translated from Greek ·- Grip on dry pavement
- Grip on wet pavement
- Do they wear out easily?
- Do they take long to reach the appropriate temperature?
- I would not buy them again
