Κάτοχος του κινητού εδώ 2 εβδομάδες.
Η οθόνη είναι ότι καλύτερο έχω πιάσει ποτέ στα χέρια και το συγκρίνω με s22, iphone 13 xiaomi 12. Μιλάμε για 4κ με τρομερά πιστά χρώματα όχι oversaturated, σαν να βλέπεις σε φωτογραφικό καλιμπραρισμενο μόνιτορ. Η κύλιση είναι ομαλή ότι περιμένει κανείς από 120hz. Η εμπειρία σε ταινίες συγκρίνεται μόνο με home cinema αλλά σε αυτό συμβάλει ο ήχος που θα αναφέρω παρακάτω.
Οι κάμερες είναι πολύ καλές αλλά την διαφορά την βλέπεις στο pro mode. Το basic ειναι οκ αλλά ειλικρινά όχι για 1000 ευρώ που τρέχει τώρα προσφορά, πόσο μάλλον για 1450. Το menu στις κάμερες είναι παρόμοιο με τις φωτογραφικές της sony της alpha σειράς. Στο pro mode καταλαβαίνεις γιατί αξίζει 1000. Εξαιρετική ποιότητα φωτογραφίας και πολύ καλά τα raw αρχεία και τις δυνατότητες που δίνει στο edit και πολύ εύχρηστο το λογισμικό.
Στο κομμάτι του ήχου τώρα. Απίστευτο stereo και surround, βλέπεις ταινία και ψάχνεις από που έρχεται ήχος. Είναι κάτι που προσωπικά δεν πίστευα ότι μπορεί να το κάνει κινητό, αλλά πραγματικά η Sony έχει κάνει κάποιο μαγικό. Η μουσική που βγάζει έχει βάθος και καθαρότητα και κάποια εφέ δόνησης που δουλεύει φανταστικά, αλλά προσωπικά δεν μου αρέσει για όλη την ώρα και κλείνει εύκολα. Ο ήχος πάλι που βγάζει από εξωτερικό ηχείο πχ Bluetooth είναι τρομερός και έχει αισθητή διαφορά με ότι άλλο έχω δοκιμάσει (το ηχείο που χρησιμοποιώ είναι της marshall).
Το μέγεθος του κινητού είναι λίγο κοντρόλ τηλεόρασης και βολεύει στο κράτημα με ένα χέρι. Τα υλικά κατασκευής είναι ποιοτικοτατα, με αξαιρετικη συνολικά αίσθηση premium προϊόντος.
Το λογισμικό λίγο ιδιαίτερο. Έχει κάποιες παραμετροποιησεις αλλά όχι στα πάντα όπως σε άλλα android τηλέφωνα. Είναι σαν να σε αναγκάζει η sony να το δεις με την δική της φιλοσοφία. Εννοείται ότι δεν τίθεται θέμα λειτουργικοτητας, όλα δουλεύουν άψογα, χωρίς κολλήματα και αστραπιαία. Το κινητό είναι άδειο από εφαρμογές σαν stock android οπότε θα πρέπει να το φέρει ο καθένας στα μέτρα του με τον δικό του τρόπο αλλά γλιτώνει όλα τα bloatware, τις διαφημίσεις κτλπ.
Οι κλήσεις είναι κρύσταλλο. Η μπαταρία ομολογώ ότι στην αρχή δεν με εντυπωσίασε μιας και έφευγα από το σπίτι με 90% και γύριζα 11 ώρες μετά με ~55%,μέχρι που συνειδητοποίησα ότι έχω κλασικά Bluetooth και δεδομένα ανοιχτά αλλά 120hz και την οθόνη στο 4κ και φυσικά συνέχεια σκαλίζω το κινητό. Οπότε θα την περιγράψω τίμια. Προφανώς μπορεί να αντέξει πολύ περισσότερο αν κόψεις λίγο κάποια features.
Εν συντομία πολύ ποιοτικό κινητό σε ότι κάνει. Με premium αίσθηση και υλικά που δεν σε φοβίζουν ότι θα σπάσει αν σου πέσει. Ασύγκριτη οθόνη και ήχος που δεν περιγράφεται με λέξεις η τελική αίσθηση. Εξαιρετικές κάμερες στο pro mode αλλά μέτριες στο point and shoot. Στα 1000 ευρώ είναι οριακά vfm αν αναλογιστεί κανείς τις προτάσεις της αγοράς αλλά στην αρχική του τιμή 1450 όχι

Απλά ένα θέμα γενικό που συμβαίνει τον τελευταίο καιρό, οι κεραίες κινητής τηλεφωνίας για οικονομία στο ρεύμα έχουν μειώσει την απόδοση των κεραιών τους - με αποτέλεσμα πολλά κινητά να μην έχουν καλό σήμα

Very good phone! I always get Sony's flagship and once again it is an amazing phone. I come from Sony Xperia 1.
After ~20 days of use:
In short:
-Good battery
-Good fingerprint sensor
-Simple Android without many interventions (good feature..)
-Incorporates technologies that are not found in other phones (3.5mm headphone jack, memory card, LED notification - the reason for purchase for me)
-Wonderful colors in printed photos
-I expected more from the camera
-There are no accessories (cases, screen protectors) anywhere in the market
-It probably heats up
-Nonexistent flash (not suitable for emergency lighting)
-Strange screen dimensions (not necessarily bad, but definitely unusual (edit: seems natural to me now)
-Poor factory apps for calls/messages/notes, etc. from Google
Detailed:
I come from S20FE. I decided not to follow Samsung on its path to becoming a copy of Apple. This, combined with the fact that I want a waterproof phone, with an SD card and without the UNACCEPTABLE in-display fingerprint sensor, forced me to go with Sony.
The phone is a decent and simple Android with all the good or bad that means: You avoid a bunch of useless apps (that put cat ears and glitter on selfies, other AR nonsense, etc.), but you lose pleasant conveniences (e.g., LED flashlight on the lock screen, double tap to sleep, tested Samsung apps). You are forced to make do with the poor and non-customizable Google apps for messages and calls. (Edit: Only 15 days call history??? lame! notes don’t lock!!)
The battery is just fine. It discharges a little less than 1%/hour in idle (connected to a smartwatch), and about 10%/hour in use (browsing/calls). I have no experience with demanding gaming. It heats up to a degree I don’t like during fast charging. Fortunately, unlike the unacceptable battery of Samsung, when a notification hits for 15%, it is 15%, not a 3-minute countdown until it shuts off.
Very good fingerprint sensor, fast, accurate, and since it’s physical, it saves you the few seconds needed to target the sensors on the screen, and the 4-5 failed recognition attempts needed to work)
The camera is overrated. (judging from my small experience with manual photography - it might be more enjoyable for enthusiasts). Very handy dedicated button to open the camera/take a photo, very nice/natural colors in printed photos (better than the S20FE). It has more things to tweak than the usual Pro mode of Android (priorities, burst modes, etc.).
On the other hand, nice to say you have continuous optical zoom but the 5x is ultimately ridiculous for a flagship (edit: in practice, continuous can only be used for static photos, because for everyday use it is slow and cumbersome - you just choose something from the 2 extremes for speed reasons).
In general, if you want to take nostalgic autumn landscapes and frozen lakes with the Alps in the background, I suppose it’s good, but that’s it. For point and shoot photography of the moment (e.g., your child playing in indoor lighting conditions), the phone is simply.. inadequate. In 80% of indoor photos, they are shaky/out of focus. I don’t want/don’t have time to do manual focus and adjust ISO/shutter speed every time I lift the phone for a photo to get a good result. (Edit: in some modes, ISO is available up to 6400 (wow), which is enough if the speed drops below 1/100 and you can take a photo indoors - if you have patience, that is). It lacks features such as serious night mode, super slow motion, etc. The infrared light for autofocus distorts the color in the photos (come on, really). I have no experience with video editing applications or connecting to a camera.
Its speaker is good. It doesn't catch the bass of the S22 Ultra, but it is pleasantly clear (Edit: crystal clear, and with excellent three-dimensional sound).
No complaints about the speed. In battery-saving mode, it occasionally experiences sudden freezes of 1-2 seconds (e.g., the page doesn't scroll), but otherwise, I haven't had any incidents of lag/dropped framerate. It heats up during gaming.
No complaints about network reception. It lacks -COME ON- the ability to share Wi-Fi. A pleasant surprise that I can make calls where I couldn't with the Samsung. I don't know if it's just my problem, but during calls, as long as the other person is talking, their voice is covered by white noise. As soon as they stop talking, this effect stops. (Edit: it was related to HD calls and was probably fixed in some update, it doesn't happen anymore).
Overall: Attractive at 1000 euros during Black Friday, but not a super deal (1400 is unacceptable). On the axis between poor and overstuffed Android, it leans more towards the poor - LG had achieved the golden mean :'( Pleasantly less useless lifestyle than Samsung (edit: but it lacks Samsung's finishing touches on important applications). Good hardware but clearly overpriced (in terms of the final result) camera.
The phone is just perfect... Generally, Sony is synonymous with the word quality!!! The truth is that the price is high, but the benefits fully meet my demands, if not exceed them!!!
I come from the Sony 1 iii which I still own. The fact that I saw absolutely no difference regarding the features I won't even comment on; you can see it for yourself in a comparison right now on skroutz. So I will move past that and go on. The fact that I have been a die-hard fan of the company for 25 consecutive years obviously makes me more experienced, as you can understand. Its aesthetics are something else, and without making it a topic, we are talking about the most beautiful device that exists in the world right now. The fact that it is lightweight - thin and has lenses that do not protrude, so you can leave your smartphone on any surface is something very important. Its screen is at very high levels, but forget about 120hz because the overheating reaches astronomical levels in every sense of the word, and the battery drains without you even realizing it. In a review from an owner that I read, it states that the device has stood out for its very good signal. Where did they see that, in which movie, so I can go see it too, because yesterday when I spoke with Sony about my concerns regarding the signal, they mentioned that they are aware of the problem that exists in the Sony 1 iii, that they are aware of what exactly is happening, and they are currently working to resolve the issue with an update by the end of summer. If you play a song on YouTube and turn the volume to maximum, the signal goes for a walk. And I move on to the issue of overheating, which is really something terrible. In many cases, the phone is so hot that you feel there is a chance it might explode, and you turn it off to let it cool down. And all this while I have manually set it deliberately to 60hz in dark mode with multiple app deactivations that I don't use and many other things. Nothing has changed at all; the device has an overheating problem, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar. The company needs to proceed with the update they claim for the overheating issues and the zero, I could say, signal that the device has. And to leave no doubt about my words, I will upload a screenshot right now while I am writing to show you what levels the device is at regarding signal strength. The photographic capabilities in auto mode are not exciting or groundbreaking. To achieve excellent photo and video capture, you need to switch to specific settings that will completely tire you out, and you will miss the feeling of just pressing the button and getting a crystal-clear photo. The sound is a real gem, but one cannot turn it to maximum because it will affect the signal and cause problems with calls.
The positives are the memory expansion, the headphone jack which for many is a gospel, and the fact that it has waterproofing. The Sony Xperia 1 IV, no matter how you use it, you will end up charging it twice a day whether you like it or not, and if someone tells you otherwise, they are lying to you shamelessly. A device of such value does not have a blue light protection app that smartphones costing 250 euros have. In short, it is a very powerful device and very strong in terms of features, while its aesthetics are something unparalleled, but there are problems that need to be solved. There is no one more obsessed with Sony than me; whatever electrical device I buy will be exclusively Sony, but that does not mean I will not mention my strong concerns. I will wait until the end of summer to see if the device's issues are resolved with the update that Sony claims we should expect. If I see that these specific issues no longer exist, then it goes without saying that I will change my rating.
Προέρχομαι από το S20 και διαπίστωσα στην πράξη πόσο προτιμώ το στενότερο σχήμα του xperia 1 από των υπολοίπων flagship. Παρ' όλο που είμαι ιδιαίτερα μεγαλόσωμος, το πλάτος για χειρισμό με το ένα χέρι είναι ξεκάθαρα αυτό.
Το τηλέφωνο ξεχωρίζει για την ποιότητα κατασκευής, τον κρυστάλλινο και δυνατό ήχο, το πολύ καλό σήμα δικτύου και την διάρκεια μπαταρίας. Η ταχύτητα του μενού με εξέπληξε ευχάριστα, το android πετάει σε αυτό το hardware, οι κλήσεις είναι αστραπιαίες.
Πήρα το τηλέφωνο με χαρά για να έχω το shutter button και τα άλλα φωτογραφικά feature της sony. Φυσικά χρώματα, το καλύτερο auto focus της αγοράς (απευθείας από τις κάμερες), ωραίο burst mode, και την καινοτομία του continuous zoom με τα πλήκτρα volume (zoom in-out). Το οπτικό ζουμ δένει καλά με αυτό το feature. Επειδή διάφορα λέγονται, ρυθμιζόμενο οπτικό ζουμ έως 5x δεν είναι λίγο, ακόμα βγαίνουν ένα σωρό compact cams με τέτοιους φακούς. Είναι σίγουρα όμως λίγο συγκριτικά με τα digital hybrid zoom των samsung ultra. Σημειώνω ότι το digital zoom του xperia δεν με ικανοποιεί.
Η πιο αρνητική έκπληξη στο τηλέφωνο ήταν η λειτουργία φακού. Είχα ξεχάσει πόσο μου την έδινε το ίδιο πράγμα στο sony Z3, παραδόξως έχουν κρατήσει την ίδια λογική. Η ένταση του led flash είναι πολύ χαμηλή ως φακός και δεν είναι ρυθμιζόμενη όπως τα samsung. Έτσι ο φακός είναι σχεδόν άχρηστος.
Το άλλο ζήτημα είναι πως παθαίνει κολλήματα, εκεί που η συσκευή είναι εξαιρετικά γρήγορη, κολλάει το chrome κυρίως ή αλλα app για μισό με ένα λεπτο στα μενού της αφής. Συμβαίνει κάθε λίγες μέρες. Υποθέτω ότι είναι είτε θέμα υπερθέρμανης το οποίο αναμένω να λυθεί με το software, είτε είναι bug του software στο multitasking που επίσης πρέπει να λυθεί. Το κινητό στήθηκε clean install εσκεμμένα.
Και κάτι πολύ ουσιώδες για τους μη προχωρημένους χρήστες, και συνάμα απαράδεκτο:
Ή θα κάνεις το data migration κατά την ενεργοποίηση της συσκευής από το activation menu, ή την πάτησες. Η εφαρμογή της sony στο playstore, Xperia Transfer Mobile App, ΔΕΝ λειτουργεί για το 1 IV. Άρα η μεταφορά αρχείων θα πρέπει να γίνει με πολύ πιο χρονοβόρες μεθόδους.
Τέλος τα διφορούμενα.
Ο αισθητήρας δακτυλικών αποτυπωμάτων στο πλάι είναι πολύ πιο χρηστικός από τον οθόνης που είχα τα τελευταία 4 χρόνια. Ενεργοποιείται όμως πιο εύκολα κατά λάθος. Προς το παρόν τον προτιμώ αλλά αναγνωρίζω ότι περιορίζει τους τρόπους που θα πιάσεις τη συσκευή.
Τα photo pro και video pro apps θέλουν αρκετή ενασχόληση να τα μάθεις Για τους χρήστες φωτογραφικών μηχανών sony είναι σχετικά απλό, για όλους τους υπόλοιπους, όχι.
Το notification led μπορεί να είναι ευχάριστα οικείο, αλλά δεν προσφέρει πολλά το 2022 με τα άπειρα notifications από social, email etc -λιγο εφφέ για τη φόρτιση, το δε minijack ευτυχώς έχει αξιοπρεπές hardware χωρίς πολλά παράσιτα (που είναι πάντα θέμα στα κινητά), αλλά και πάλι θα προτιμήσω DAP player για καλό ήχο εν κινήσει.
Όσων αφορά την τιμή, για εμένα δεν έπαιξε ρόλο, ειδικά με τα μεγάλα noise cancelling ακουστικά δώρο στην προπαραγγελία ήταν καλή περίπτωση.
Συνοψίζοντας, η συσκευή είναι ένα ολοκληρωμένο flagship (το πρώτο μετά από χρόνια για τη Sony) με το προτέρημα της microSD και του minijack για κάποιους, οθόνη χωρίς notch, ενώ στη φωτογραφία και χρηστικότητα ξεχωρίζει πολύ. Λείπουν κάποια software καλούδια αν είστε χρήστης Samsung (πχ επαφες, συλλογή, φακος ειναι λίγο καλύτερα στο UI) και ενδεχομένως τα συχνά software updates. Η τιμή το κάνει λιγότερο ελκυστικό.
Edit 20/8:
Μετά από δύο update το θέμα με τα κολλήματα έχει εξαφανιστεί.
Όμως η υπερθέρμανση σε εξωτερικούς χώρους με τον καύσωνα είναι συνεχώς παρούσα. Και σε μη απαιτητικά task κάποιες φορές. Άραγε όμως μπορεί να βελτιωθεί? Αυτό είναι πραγματικό μειονέκτημα.
Απλα τελειο δε εχω κατι να πω περα απο την τιμη που ....
