Google equips the Pixel 6a with the Google Tensor, its first processor specifically designed for Pixel, providing top performance, battery life, and security.
It uses the Titan M2 security chip that ensures high security against attacks and protects the phone's data and files.
The Google Pixel 6a is equipped with a 12.2MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, it features a multitude of functions that are useful in every different situation.
With IP67 protection, the Pixel 6a is resistant to splashes or small amounts of water and dust. So, you can take your phone wherever you go.
With the Live Translate feature, you can converse in 11 languages, interpret face-to-face conversations, and translate signs using the camera without requiring the internet.
The package does not include headphones and a charger, but only a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter for charging your Google Pixel 6a. This reduces the box size, resulting in more devices per load and a reduction in the energy spent on transporting them.

After 2 years of use, it still runs perfectly, amazing camera, it has never frozen, it has fallen from the hands of the kids countless times. (I hope I don't jinx it). The only downside I have to mention is that when it's charging and I'm using it, the touch functionality lags, not to the point where you can't use it, but it's not easy to change pages (scroll). That's it. It’s worth the money anyway.
Overall it would be very good but for me it is no longer functional. In dual sim mode it drops calls consistently at 5 seconds and resets the network.
Perfect in everything except for the video quality, especially at night. After a year and a half of normal use without games, etc., the battery swelled and the phone split in two. I was using the charger from Google
Very good phone!!
Photo from another planet! With Nova sim, even though it doesn't have 5g, I haven't encountered any problems with the signal. I highly recommend it without reservation.
There is a problem with the product in Greece!
There is, of course, the option of using Google's service (sending it abroad), a bit pricey
After 6 months that I have it, I have to say that with the same money you can get a Samsung and do your job better. Overpriced. Calls not so clear. We knew it doesn't have 5g. When someone calls you, you can't simultaneously access the internet with data and we knew that. But when you need to access both simultaneously and you can't, you will wonder why you bought it...
Camera for me is not something as great as they say. Also, when I zoom in on the right side of the photo, there are black marks on all the photos. Those who say it heats up, it's true if you push it, otherwise it's a phone that is not worth its money because it doesn't offer anything more than a phone in the same category.
Owner of the phone since December 2022. At first, it had issues with calls, etc., but now it hasn't done anything similar to me.
I'll say it simply.. there are iPhones, Androids, and Pixels...
If you can't get an iPhone, get a Pixel...
It doesn't take good photos in low light, don't expect it to take good ones at night because it uses a lot of AI and ISO and it ruins the clarity.. of course, someone who knows can adjust it better.. I just haven't dealt much with night shots.
Very comfortable in hand compared to the slippers that are out there.. if it was more square like iPhones or the Sony Xperia Z that I had 10 years ago, which I consider the best, I would say 10/10
Good overall but it has its flaws. Very good screen resolution but the brightness is very low even at maximum. The rear camera is also very good but unfortunately they have downgraded the front one compared to the Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 3 that I had before, the front camera is much inferior, I don't know how that happened. In this particular model, there is a blur in the selfies. Very fast but not so smooth. 5G, VoLTE, and related features don't work okay, I knew that, very slow charging, the battery is average to good but it manages well for 4,500 milliampere-hours. Otherwise, the size is ideal, strong speaker, and functional, the best. The fingerprint sensor is very fast and effective, I disagree with most comments that it is slow and laggy. 3.5 stars from me.
I have it for a week. For its price, the phone is great. However, there are always downsides. The battery is terrible for such a device. The screen brightness is average (compared to Xiaomi Mi A3, Nexus, etc.). The screens on these phones were much better for me (I mean the lighting). The sound is mediocre, if not bad, because it only has one speaker. The camera is flawless, I have no words for it. Everyone talks about the calls, but I have no issues. 4G-5G, I am in Kο and I did a speed test, I don't know if it was 5G or 4G, but it reached 167mb with Vodafone. We're talking about Kο now, not Athens. These speeds don't exist in Kο. I bought it solely for the clean Android. It's worth it.
I wanted a mobile phone for good photos and that's why I chose this one. Really good photos indeed! Overall, everything is good, speed, etc. So I will only write the 2-3 somewhat negative points:
The battery is average, not terrible but not the biggest either.
In speakerphone mode, sometimes I lose the other person's voice and I have to speak normally.
It doesn't come with a charger. (However, it charges quite quickly with a fast charger.)
Overall, I highly recommend it, especially if someone wants a good camera.
I would never buy it again, it sticks all the time! It constantly raises the temperature... It takes 3-4 hours to charge and the battery barely lasts 24 hours without much use, if you push it, it lasts 10 hours. The only positive thing is that the photos come out easily better than more expensive phones... For me, it's not worth it
Very good phone for its price, the fingerprint sensor works perfectly, the mobile doesn't lag at all and the video is really perfect, especially the rear camera. I have uploaded some photos and it's worth its money
The user can switch to Graphenos, perhaps the safest mobile OS at the moment, and with a mobile cost of 350-375 euros!!!
The mobile is excellent, I don't know why some people have issues with calls. Personally, with Cosmote provider, I get almost everywhere LTE without disconnections and very fast response. The device's speed in applications is ridiculously fast. The device has been updated to android 14 beta and works perfectly. Maybe the only thing I would like to be a little better is the speaker, however, it is satisfactory.
In my opinion, this phone is the best budget option on the market. It doesn't lag anywhere, the battery easily lasts a day with heavy use. However, the standout feature is the camera which simply takes fantastic photos in various settings. It's a versatile budget phone at the right price. The only negative I noticed is the weak wifi signal and radius.
Very powerful mobile, worth it fully. The battery lasts me 2 days with moderate use before it completely drains, which surprised me because some reviews said it drains quickly. Of course, I don't use it for gaming at all, so I don't know if gaming drains it faster. As for the camera, I'm shocked (I'm also a lover of landscapes), it's very powerful and emphasizes colors a lot and produces them in great resolution, just like the videos. And the selfie is quite good too. Overall, Google did a great job, 10/10 especially for the money, it easily competes with mobiles in the 600-800€ budget and even surpasses many of them. And my next mobile will be from Google again, it won me over as a customer!
Not a terrible device, the best camera I've seen with a 12-megapixel lens.... It easily surpasses more expensive devices.... Crazy! But it doesn't include a charger.
Just because of the battery that runs out very quickly even when the screen is off, I will remove one star. Although I think it's a software issue, it's still very annoying to have to charge it every so often... Other than that, I am satisfied with all its functions.
First time buying a Google Pixel phone. In short, I can write the following:
- It doesn't lag and opens/closes apps relatively quickly
- Nice photos and videos. No comparison to my previous phone (Samsung A20e)
- Loud speakers with nice stereo sound, but no headphone jack
- Connection to TV can only be done with Chromecast TV
- Battery life with normal use is a little over a day
Overall, I am satisfied with the phone. If you don't mind the 2-3 negatives I mentioned above, I consider the Google Pixel 6a as a very good choice!
I bought it for 300, because of GrapheneOS as it only runs on Pixel. It takes good photos and is very fast. It has a nice screen and the 60hz doesn't bother me at all. With GrapheneOS, the battery lasts 2 to 3 days depending on usage. For now, I haven't found anything I don't like about it except for the price it's sold in Greece. I think 250-300 is more reasonable.
The negatives of the phone are that I've had it for 2 months and it's already had 2 freezes. I've never had this happen with a new phone before - it may be because I have the nova launcher, but even so, a phone with these specs shouldn't be freezing.
The advertised photos and night mode are indeed good, but in night mode it takes a lot of seconds to take a photo and it's a bit awkward to sit there waiting for it to come out - most of the time it ends up blurry because no one knows when the photo will be taken from the moment someone presses the button.
The package doesn't include headphones and the ones I bought separately don't have very good sound and are also difficult to apply (wired, Bluetooth, I don't know).
I bought it for €280! Owner of the mobile for 2 weeks now.
So far, everything is going perfectly, exactly as described by most users. I use it for calls, photos, emails, browsing, music, and I don't play games at all. The battery is noticeably improving day by day. The only thing I would like to be slightly improved is the charging duration, but since the battery lasts quite well for the usage I give it, it doesn't make much of a difference.
At the price I got it, €280, there is no discussion about a better phone!
I will come back with the passage of time.
UPDATE 06/06/24: With one year passing, the phone hasn't frozen anywhere. Surely, new models have come out (at different prices, of course), but it seems that the 6a handles all everyday functions flawlessly!
I have been using it for about a month and therefore I do not know if the problem of losing mobile data connection in some cases will be solved with an upgrade, without it even being visible. It may be due to the switch between g (4, 4+ or 5).
I have been using it for a month. Very fast, very good camera. Average battery. Cannot work simultaneously with GPS maps and phone calls. I think it's one of the best phones for this price.
I am the owner of Google Pixel 4a and 7 Pro.
I got the 6 for my father and we have been impressed by its features, especially considering the price.
It's the best value for money out there.
The only downside is that if something goes wrong, it needs to be sent abroad for repair since there are no Google stores in Greece.
