  I have it for a year and this is my opinion.

  Positives:
  • Excellent camera, very good photos day and night, do not be fooled by the 12 MP, I compared it with a 48 MP mobile and the pixel had better quality. It has very good HDR and color accuracy. The selfie camera is decent, not something amazing.
  • Very good video during the day, okay at night. It would be nice to have 4k 60fps and on the ultra wide lens but it has up to 30fps.
  • Very good processor, the phone runs smoothly and does not lag. It plays very well any game I have downloaded with good graphics.
  • Software, clean android and amazing AI features. It adapts to the user's usage over time.

  Negatives:
  • The screen, although it has good clarity, lacks brightness and does not have good HDR (the screen of my previous phone Samsung Galaxy a7 2018 was much better), the 60 hz do not bother me so much because my previous phone had the same, but for the price it is unacceptable.
  • The battery in general is OK, if I don't use it heavily I can finish the day with 30%. But in the summer when I use a lot of data and open hotspot I will definitely need to recharge it.
  • Also, when I have data and hotspot open and use it, it overheats very easily and I have to let it cool down.

  Overall, it is good value for money, you just have to accept that you have to sacrifice some things for others.

  I decided to write this review late, but since I had this in my hands, let me say a few words. Google has talent in "affordable" devices. I had the 6, lost it, and got the 6a as a replacement. It is the same as the 6, with the only difference being the 60hz screen, the main camera, and the build material (plastic back, gorilla glass 3 on the front). The performance is the same as the 6, which costs twice as much. The smart features and the simple yet unique software are also the same, and that's enough if you like it. The camera is almost half the size of the 6, but I was impressed to see the same sensor used in the 3, 4, 5, etc., performing exceptionally well, and even the video, which was the weak point of the pixels, has improved significantly due to the tensor. Another thing I liked is the 6.1 size, which is ideal for me. The build material, although plastic, somehow manages to look like glass! The result is that it appears more premium and is lighter. Now, of course, I don't know if it is a good choice in 2023, as the 7a has been released, which has some significant changes, and considering that the 8a will be out in 6 months, which I believe will be very good, the price of the 7a will drop. Get it if you find it for 300 and you're eager for a new phone, or if you're not ready to spend 500 for the 7 or 7a series. Since the new prices have increased (the 7a went up to 450, the 8 series starts from 800, etc.), getting the device from the previous year is a good strategy for saving money. I'm writing this from the 7 ;)

When someone calls you, you can't simultaneously access the internet with data and we knew that. But when you need to access both simultaneously and you can't, you will wonder why you bought it...

  Owner of the phone since December 2022. At first, it had issues with calls, etc., but now it hasn't done anything similar to me.
  I'll say it simply.. there are iPhones, Androids, and Pixels...
  If you can't get an iPhone, get a Pixel...

  It doesn't take good photos in low light, don't expect it to take good ones at night because it uses a lot of AI and ISO and it ruins the clarity.. of course, someone who knows can adjust it better.. I just haven't dealt much with night shots.

  Good overall but it has its flaws. Very good screen resolution but the brightness is very low even at maximum. The rear camera is also very good but unfortunately they have downgraded the front one compared to the Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 3 that I had before, the front camera is much inferior, I don't know how that happened. In this particular model, there is a blur in the selfies. Very fast but not so smooth. 5G, VoLTE, and related features don't work okay, I knew that, very slow charging, the battery is average to good but it manages well for 4,500 milliampere-hours. Otherwise, the size is ideal, strong speaker, and functional, the best. The fingerprint sensor is very fast and effective, I disagree with most comments that it is slow and laggy. 3.5 stars from me.

  The mobile phone is good, but unfortunately not for Greece. The purchase was made through Skroutz. I intended to have two numbers on the device - one for personal and one for my business phone. I inserted an esim and a physical sim with the green mobile phone company. Unfortunately, with the placement of the esim, I could not receive any calls or even on the number for which I had the physical sim. After I returned it for repair through Skroutz as "defective", they assured me that the phone is fine and functioning. After many days, I received the device back and tried to install my esim again. After many phone calls and many days of inconvenience and without being able to make calls, I was informed by the green company that this particular model is not compatible with ANY provider in Greece when it comes to esim. Essentially, the phone ceases to be dual sim when it comes to Greece. A big negative is that I was not informed of this problem from the check that was supposed to have been done (even though I fully explained the situation), as well as the fact that there is no representation in Greece for such cases. Also, regarding wireless connections with other devices and/or headphones, aux, etc., it is very weak and does not connect. Finally, it does not have the classic 3.5mm jack and its battery is quite average. With its positives, it has a very good camera and a convenient device size.

  I am the owner of the mobile phone for about two months. It doesn't lag anywhere (it has the same processor as the pro model, so you automatically get a €350 phone with the same €600 mobile processor).
  • Its photos are among the best for its price in high lighting conditions. They are also quite good in low lighting conditions (given its price, of course).
  • I found the video to be excellent in stabilization, and the fact that it has 4k 60fps is a big plus. It's understandable why Google highlights the cameras as selling points in Pixel smartphones; they have done a great job with the camera software, and it shows.
  • Now, as for its operating system, it is pure Android. No bloatware, very clean. It provides the best Android user experience I have had on a mobile phone so far. Maybe someone coming from Xiaomi or Samsung might get a little confused with the gestures at first (although there is an option to use the navigation bar), but I found it much more convenient to handle it this way in the end.
  • It has some smart features that I have fallen in love with.
  - If you turn the device upside down, it enters "do not disturb" mode.
  - You can take a screenshot by double-tapping the back of the device.
  - It has the ability to answer/decline a call using your voice by saying the corresponding English words (answer, decline), and it automatically switches to speakerphone if you answer. Very convenient, especially while driving.
  • It has a 60Hz AMOLED display, with very nice colors and a very smooth feel. Although my previous phone had a 120Hz display, and I thought this would be an issue, from the moment I got this phone, it didn't bother me at all. The display is so good that it doesn't really feel like it's only 60Hz.
  • Very nice stereo speakers with good volume and clear sound.
  Now let's move on to some complaints I have:
  • Its battery is okay, but coming from the Redmi Note 10 Pro, I have gotten used to having longer battery life. If you use it intensively, you will need to charge it once a day. However, you can get a fast charging cable, so it won't take long to fully charge, about 1 hour.
  • The temperature rises when you record high-quality videos for a long time. (It happened to me once, and the phone was really hot). Maybe this has been fixed with an update because it hasn't happened again, but I'm not sure.
  • The big negative is that the phone is 5G, but in Greece, the providers do not support it for this device. I have Vodafone, and so far, I haven't been given the option for 5G. I don't know if this can change at some point, but it seems difficult in the near future. So I do not recommend this phone or any Pixel phones from Google to someone who wants to use 5G; they will be disappointed.
  • Due to the providers, etc. that we mentioned before, VOWIFI and VOLTE are not supported. In simple terms, you cannot make calls via WiFi or data on a phone number. Just like you cannot use the internet while talking on a mobile call.
  It is good to research this topic a bit before making a purchase. I personally found this issue to be a minus, but it didn't bother me enough to ruin my overall experience. However, someone else might have an issue with it, and that's why I'm informing you.
  • It doesn't have a very good fingerprint sensor. It works for me about 2.5 to 3/4 of the time, but it could definitely be better.
  Who is this phone mainly for? It is for people who want a device with an amazing camera, without any lag, at a reasonable price. In these money with what it offers, it is a total value for money. Perhaps the best in its category in terms of photos. (at least until the pixel 7a comes out in June if I'm not mistaken). In my opinion, if they made the 5G and fingerprint in the mid-range category up to 300-350€, it would be a one-way street.

  I bought it for €280! Owner of the mobile for 2 weeks now.

  I've had it for almost 2 months, so now I have an opinion about the phone. The rear camera is the best for its price and easily competes with flagship phones. The processing it does after taking a photo is excellent, with balanced, high-definition colors. It doesn't struggle with high or low lighting.

  The selfie camera is okay when you take a photo with the phone's camera and after processing. However, when you take a selfie for Instagram, the camera is very bad. It needs good lighting to come out well. However, the rear camera is still good and the quality on Instagram is bad.

  For videos, it's very stable and has an option for how stable you want it to be. As for speed, memory, and other features, I don't need to say anything. It has a processor from last year's flagship phone, so it's great.

  The battery is okay. If you charge it in the morning and use it all day, you'll need to charge it urgently at night. With normal use, it lasts a long time.

  The operating system is the cleanest and simplest there is, and you get used to it over time. The only downside is that it's not officially available in Greece, so you can't fully take advantage of the phone, such as with 5G.

  If you want something simple, fast, with a good camera, and without spending a lot of money, it's one of the best options, if not the best.
