I am giving this specific formulation after a recommendation from a dog nutritionist (along with a special diet and other supplements) for an issue with the anal glands (oversecretion) for the past month and a half. The plan is long-term, so I don't expect immediate results. At the moment, we are at a point where the issue still exists, but the secretions and odor have somewhat decreased. I am optimistic and will order a second box, hoping that the situation continues to improve. I will come back with any updates that arise.

After long-term use on my dog, I can't say that I recommend it. My dog has a problem with his anal glands, which fill up very often and he is unable to empty them on his own. This specific product promises to help with this issue by making the bowel movements harder due to the fibers, but I still have to empty them every 1 to 2 months. Additionally, I have noticed that it frequently caused gas. I have stopped giving it to him for almost a month now, and the gas has already stopped, as well as the soft and smelly bowel movements.
