Superman: Sent to Earth from the dying planet Krypton as a baby. Kal-El was discovered by farmers Martha and Jonathan Kent and raised as their son, Clark. As Clark grew up, the radiation from Earth's yellow sun gave him enhanced senses and extraordinary powers, including super strength, speed, and flight. Now an adult, he uses his powers to protect his adopted world as Superman. In the near future, after the Dark Knight's return to crime-fighting, Superman is summoned by the President to speak with Batman and calm the "ruckus" in Gotham City.
