I own planar magnetic headphones and I found myself listening to the MR4s more often. At this price point, there is simply nothing like this. Highly respected "Z reviews" from YT agrees.
I have bought many speakers in my life. I must admit that I did not expect to get something so high-quality for 100€. The sound is amazing, and it goes very loud. Their construction is very sturdy and they look beautiful.
The speakers are made of wood and clearly superior to any computer speakers. They are certainly not professional monitors, but a serious effort has been made to approach the sound and build quality of more expensive studio monitors. Proof of this effort is the very good (excellent for the price range) measurements. For anyone who knows how to read and understand measurements, here is the link:

Compared to the Mackie CR3-X, Presonus Eris E3.5, M-Audio BX3, etc. which belong to the same category, the Edifier MR4 not only does not fall behind anywhere, on the contrary, it excels in many areas. Among their positives, it should be noted that there is no noise/hissing from the tweeter when they are turned on but not playing.
In general, instead of someone spending €50 ~ €80 to get "good" plastic computer speakers, it is better to go a little higher and go for €99 where with this pair of monitors, they will truly enjoy quality performance in music.
The sound of these simply costs much more than they actually deliver, crystal clear sound even at high volume. Instead of spending 50 euros on a mediocre speaker, you get these and never have to deal with sound again
After a lot of research, I chose these speakers and have been using them daily for months.
Awesome sound, clean bass, and their sound profile is very pleasant. I have never used headphones on my desktop before.
If you search, you can find them for around 100 euros. But even at the price of 180 euros that I see them reaching on Scroutz, they are still the best you can buy for that money.
