  WARNING it is a CATHARTIC/LAXATIVE
  I bought it for the "smooth elimination of waste which would happen easily and without effort, pain or irritation" as stated in its description. I took 2 full teaspoons once a day for 2 days and eventually realized (in an unpleasant and painful way) that it is a cathartic/laxative. It did not help me with the reason I bought it for. I would not recommend it to people with hemorrhoids/fissures and definitely not for diarrhea as stated in its description.

  Yes, it does help somewhat with constipation, but the taste and feeling are terrible, like rocks in water... But what is more important is that it does not help with IBS sufferers. The sensitive intestine does not respond to these supplements. So you are simply spending money on something that if you don't continue, you will just return to constipation and a vicious cycle with IBS. At least they should lower the price...   I purchased it on a friend's recommendation for maintaining a healthy bowel. With the usage I have seen no dramatic results, but it seems good for maintenance. I have been using it for about 3 months now, with no issues so far. Of course, my friend warned me that after one month the positive results become more noticeable. Let me clarify that I am using it in the smallest dose, which is only one teaspoon once a day. I have started to believe that it is a bit too little. At this level, I would say it helps more conservatively. Maybe two teaspoons and using it twice a day are needed. I will increase the dosage and update here if I see a difference.

  However, there is no issue with the product, it dissolves well in water and is easy to drink, it doesn't have a bad taste and there is no difficulty in swallowing, it doesn't even remind me of bran, etc. as I read somewhere. Two more glasses of water are needed for one teaspoon of the product. (See instructions at the end.) The most difficult part is probably drinking the two glasses of water. The product is easily digestible. Also, another small difficulty is that it requires some planning, as it should be taken at least half an hour before a meal.

  Overall, I would say I am satisfied. I replaced the oats I used to eat, which I consider more indigestible for me. But nothing can replace fruits and vegetables when it comes to dietary fiber - don't be fooled.

  Also, don't expect it to send you to the bathroom as soon as you take it, if you happen to have constipation. Not even close... It works slowly, moderately. It may take up to 24 hours to take effect, maybe even longer - at least in the dosage I take, I don't know if you take double or quadruple. Anyone who wants to maintain a good bowel condition can try it, but better without high expectations.

  Anyway, it is definitely better to take it than to take nothing. It is also an economical solution (the 180g package lasts about 1.5 months for me, taking two teaspoons a day. After about 3 months, it has not finished yet with one teaspoon a day that I take).

  For those interested, below are the usage instructions on the side of the box:

  DOSAGE & USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
  It is recommended to take Lepicol at least 30 minutes before a meal.

  Adults: Mix 1 to 2 heaped teaspoons (2.5-5g) with a glass of water or juice and consume immediately, one to two times a day. It is necessary to drink a second glass of water. It is recommended to start with a low dose and gradually increase it.

  Children: Mix half to 1 heaped teaspoon with a glass of water or juice and consume immediately, one to two times a day. It is necessary to drink a second glass of water. Parents should consult a doctor before administering Lepicol to children under 11 years old.

  Caution: Taking Lepicol without consuming water may make it difficult to swallow and is not recommended. Each heaped teaspoon should always be taken with 250ml of fluids.

  Very good!!! It works from the first day. I bought it because I take iron and it causes me incredible constipation. With lepicol, I was saved and I can continue my iron therapy without worry... that I will have episodes of blockage. I simply drink one dose per day, which is 4 teaspoons. Half a dose... meaning 2 teaspoons per day, doesn't help much with iron... but without iron, it's okay. If you take the full dose, the 4 teaspoons per day, the bottle will last you half a month. If you take half a dose per day, it will last you the whole month. Important: each teaspoon requires a glass of water. Meaning, with the 4 teaspoons, you need to drink 4 glasses of water. In general, you should drink it as the instructions say.

  Yes, it does what it promises, but every time it is a struggle to swallow it. The "powder" does not dissolve in cold or hot water and it feels like swallowing crushed bran. If you don't have a problem with swallowing it, then go for it.
