This book presents inter-artistic activities at the Municipal Art Gallery of Messolonghi during student visits. Today, the goal of educational visits to museum spaces is considered experiential learning through the implementation of educational programs. Thus, children develop thoughts and feelings starting from the exhibits; in this case, the events of the Sieges and the Exodus of Messolonghi, as depicted in the works of significant Greek and foreign creators (writers, painters, musicians). In student activities, acting is combined, meaning the dramatization by students of the visual works exhibited in the Gallery, poetry, e.g., by Dionysios Solomos, and music, e.g., through simultaneous listening by students to the musical setting of the Free Besieged by Yiannis Markopoulos. The book contains a complete plan of indicative proposals, exercises, and activities, so that students can approach Literature, History, and Language inter-artistically through contact with relevant works of Art. The result, in this case, is the mobilization of as many children as possible, in ways that are enjoyable and creative for them.
