Very good and affordable power supply. I bought the power supply for 80€ from Skroutz. There is no competitor at this price.
750w 80 plus gold, fully modular. It is installed in a Coolermaster td300 white, r9 3900 pro, b550m mortar max Wi-Fi, rx 5700xt 8GB, 2x1tb Kingston ssd (3.5k write/read) and 4x8gb 3600 Kingston beast rgb. I do some editing and it is for gaming (wow Diablo etc)
It can take 2x8pin cpu and 3x8pin gpu simultaneously.
Quite silent, I had no noise issues under full load.
I think there is no competitor at this price... my other options were thermaltake semi modular or be quiet fully wired or turbo-x 800w semi modular (yikes!). Under 90€. It has been working very well for 2 months, providing stable oc without water and without increasing temperatures. I haven't tried the 850/1000w with rtx 4080/4090 or rx 7900 xt/Xtx to see if it has any issues with higher wattage...
Anyway, for 80-85€ you can build a good budget system with stability and nice features.
I don't know about the 12+4 pin patent for rtx... but my friend has a 4070 and 13500 and he's been happy for 8 months. I followed his example and I don't regret it. I hope I won't need to update with a negative review.
Anyway, it belongs to the b-tier PSUs, so definitely better than smart se/se2/bm from thermaltake, or chieftec, keep out sharkoon at the same price range, which belong to the E-tier (avoid at all costs) and bronze or plus (without certification). I consider it the best choice.
UPDATED 10/01/2024... Purchased on 25/10/2023. On 30/11, the computer stopped booting. Fans were working, RGB lights were on, but no display... So, I started a poor troubleshooting of the PC... I started with graphics card cables, then monitor, changed the 5700 XT with an RX 570 I had, changed the 3900/b550m to 9100F/b365, changed RAM from Kingston to Teamgroup Aegis... changed all the fans and whenever I had time, I started testing every weekend to see if the components would boot or not...! Finally, I decided to change the power supply and found the Coolermaster MW3 V2 750W bronze (fully wired) for 57.6€. In all systems, with all the fans, mobo-cpu sets, rams, ssds, HDDs, GPUs, cases, it booted up immediately. Finally, I decided to put it back in a system since the components were booting and it tripped the circuit breaker of my house... I tested it in 4 outlets with the same result, the main circuit breaker kept tripping. I disconnected the air conditioners, TVs, etc. and left only the power supply. Same story...! Burnt PSU in 2 months of use and booting issues...
Supposedly, you buy a gold PSU class. In the end, the international reviews were right, it is very average and inferior in durability. In the end, I'm 80+60 (gigabyte+coolermaster PSUs) to get the job done... I would have spent 140€ on Corsair, Coolermaster, Be Quiet, Seasonic gold, fully modular 750/850W... Since I didn't make the purchase through Skroutz, now I'm running to the store to have it replaced or get my money back... In the end, you don't test power supplies, you go with the well-known ones and the guarantees are there... you save 20-40€ and then you end up paying double without getting what you want... I hope the Coolermaster lasts for at least 5 years of use, even though I had a 2-month adventure...
AVOID IT!
