Very good value for money choice, all machines make noise but the whole process lasts 10 seconds so everyone complains in vain, it doesn't hit like a compressor. With Lavazza capsules, I have found my health and start my day with a smile!
Perfect machine. I have it for four months and I use it daily for coffee and other beverages. Nothing has happened to it and if you maintain it as needed, I don't think anything will happen to it. Very good purchase.

For 1-2 people, the water container is fine. It makes good coffee, and it also takes Starbucks, Buondi, and Lavazza capsules. However, it makes a lot of noise and is quite slower than the previous model, Dolce Gusto. After a few months, the water started leaking inexplicably from the container and almost flooded the countertop.
The lid constantly comes off from its position, falls into the water, and the cable should have been black!
It makes very good coffee. It has a wide variety. The only disadvantage is that it does not take capsules from other manufacturers.
Very satisfied with the purchase. The reason we bought it was because it made cappuccinos and hot chocolates without extra accessories. I have tried Lavazza, Nescafe, and Starbucks capsules, but I prefer Lavazza for cappuccinos as it tastes like a store-bought one. It also makes very nice hot chocolate, especially Nescafe (I have also tried Mars and Twix). It has normal noise levels, it is small in size without taking up unnecessary space on the counter, it looks good and functions well.

Compared to my Nespresso, I like the huge amount of coffee that a Lungo capsule can produce, which makes it quite economical, the low noise, the nice design, and the relatively cheap genuine capsules compared to the competition. It also has an automatic indicator for descaling and to go through a process for its future proper functioning. (I put vinegar)
I didn't like the response of the buttons, which are a bit stiff and require a good press. Prefer a darker color because the white color gradually gets dirty from coffee splashes.

I bought it for 71.24 euros; I wouldn't pay more or I would get the other model, which is almost the same.
It's been a few days since I have it in my hands, coming from a previous model of Dolce Gusto from 2011 I can say that I am thrilled with the Krups Genio S Plus model and its capabilities and options. The coffees I made were of hot choice and were very decent. The capsules we choose also play a key role.
I also have to say, after 3 months of using it, it is absolutely perfect coffee.. The only thing is, if you forget the capsule inside, it gets stuck and the coffee drawer doesn't come out. It's worth its money
First the positives:
+ Small size (does not take up much space on the counter)
+ Quality construction
+ Reasonable price
Now the negatives:
- Small water tank. With two chocolate or cappuccino drinks, the tank is empty.
- Average coffee quality. I don't know if it's due to the capsules or the machine, but the coffee is overly mediocre.
- Having had a Nespresso machine for years, I can say that what sets them apart is the chaos.
The only reason I give it 3 stars is because if someone doesn't have high demands, this machine is reasonably priced and will meet their needs. Otherwise, choose something different from the Dolce Gusto.

Once every three or four months, when the cleaning light comes on, it needs descaling with a special liquid for steam irons, coffee machines, etc.
It takes about 10 minutes of work, you do it and enjoy a great coffee.
I highly recommend it without reservation!!
I bought it on 13/05/2022 as a gift through skroutz. The fact that it had coupons worth 40€ (20 of 2€ each) was helpful and useful. However, the coupons included in the package had already expired in March 2022 (03/2022)?!?!
Overall, the coffee maker makes good coffee, it is of good quality and easy to use. It is worth its money in any case. However, be careful with those with the coupons because they are essentially included in the price. Although helpful, you can get the previous model for 59€ instead of 94€ and do the same job.
The only flaw I find is the noise.
The coffee machine is excellent. First of all, I have to say that I initially bought cappuccino capsules and I have been pleasantly surprised by how similar they are to the ones I would get in a café. Additionally, it offers a wide variety of coffee options, including chocolate and tea drinks. The construction seems sturdy and it is easy to use, without having found any negatives so far. I will come back if I find something.
Or I haven't had a cappuccino in a long time due to the coronavirus or it really makes a wonderful cappuccino. I don't have an opinion on other drinks (I will try a frappé in the summer) but I enjoy the cappuccino.
Very good device. You know that it creates the right proportions thanks to the selector. Additionally, NESTLÉ also replaces the coupons that happen to expire during the month of purchase with others that expire later. So, I am very satisfied.
For a coffee maker, I think it's worth its money. It makes very good espresso, but when it comes to cappuccino or freddo, it can't be compared to coffee you buy from outside! I bought it because of the variety of drinks it prepares and I am very satisfied. I also bought an adapter and I can use capsules that are not exclusively Dolce Gusto or Starbucks!!
Με διαφορά η πιο στιβαρή και δυνατή Dolce Gusto μηχανή που έχω δοκιμάσει. Όλες τις ατέλειες που έχουν τα πιο "οικονομικά" μοντέλα τις διορθώνει.
Αγοράστηκε στα 70ε και με κουπόνια έκπτωσης για κάψουλες 40 ευρω οπότε έτσι ουσιαστικά κοστίζει όσο και οι μικρότερες.
Στιβαρή και δεν κουνιέται με τίποτα σε αντίθεση πχ με την Mini Me που αν βάλεις κάψουλες συμβατές ζορίζεται και έχει αναταράξεις. Κάδος νερού που γεμίζει απλά σηκώνοντας το καπάκι και δεν χρειάζεται να βγει για να γεμίσει. Αυτόματη με επιλογή του πόσο καυτό ή όχι νερό θέλεις στο ρόφημα σου. Επιλογή για μεγαλύτερη πίεση ώστε να είναι πιο δυνατός ο espresso σου.
Γενικά απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος.
Very good coffee machine, the boost function is excellent. It works with refillable capsules and if you also use a good tamper (41mm) to press the coffee, it gives body and creaminess to the coffee.
There is no reason to give 20€ more for it, I saw it up close and it simply has 3 more functions like the larger espresso amplifier, larger container and the option to choose a drink hot or cold and very hot and also changes the design that makes it more bulky. The Dolce Gusto Mini Me takes 30 seconds to warm up while this one takes 40 seconds, it only has one more scale where you can put the base while the mini me has 2 scales. It produces a larger volume of the drink slower compared to the mini me which is faster by 10-15 seconds, like in warming up, and it takes up more space, not discreet at all!
Owner of a Nesspresso machine with Aeroccino (since 2017), so I will compare the machines. Firstly, both the Dolce Gusto and Nesspresso machines are from the Krups company and not from Delonghi (as far as I know, those who bought Delonghi machines ended up having issues over time, even with regular descaling maintenance every six months, which is very important if you want to keep your machine for years).
As for the build quality, it is sturdy but not as much as the Nesspresso, which has metal parts instead of plastic like this one. In terms of size, it is much more compact compared to the Nesspresso, which is a positive thing because it doesn't take up the entire counter. In terms of noise, they make the same amount of noise. Some people complain in general about the noise of espresso machines, but we should remind them that any compressor makes noise in order to create pressure for water flow.
Now let's talk about the capsules. We are definitely talking about a wide variety of beverages, such as chocolates, lattes, teas, French press, cappuccinos. However, I must inform you that you will have to visit different supermarkets because depending on the supermarket brand, they may not carry all the flavors I mentioned. So if you want to see the full range, you will have to visit different supermarkets. (I should mention that the machine comes with €2 coupons, totaling €40, so with each capsule box, you will have a €2 discount. Now, as for the variety of coffee, this is where Dolce Gusto falls short. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as many blends as Nesspresso.
Regarding the price of the capsules, I must inform you that Dolce Gusto's capsules are much cheaper than Nesspresso's (I'm talking about purchasing capsules either from Nesspresso itself or from supermarkets).
In conclusion, for anyone who wants a coffee machine (for Freddo Espresso, cappuccinos, and other beverages), I would recommend Dolce Gusto right away. On the other hand, for someone who is more knowledgeable and wants different coffee blends, then Nesspresso is the way to go. I forgot to mention that Nesspresso doesn't make beverages like hot chocolates, teas, etc., it only makes coffee.
It is a very nice machine for quick and easy coffee! Very easy to use. I got it with 40 euros worth of coupons, which you can use every time you buy a pack of coffee to get a 2 euro discount. I highly recommend it for home coffee.
The machine was received on 16/1/2021. I am already an owner of the Dolce Gusto Lumio, which in my opinion is better than the Genio S Plus that I have received. The Genio S produced coffee with a strange taste and left sediment in the espresso, something that never happened with the Lumio. So I tried it with plain water to test it, and it had a strange smell. I have followed all the instructions. Dolce Gusto told me that it needs servicing, but Krups' technical support did not answer the phone for hours. I read 2 reviews on Amazon about the Genio S saying that it has a plastic taste, maybe it's like my case. If the problem is resolved, I will update the evaluation. Based on my experience, the Lumio is much better.
Update: Krups' customer service told me to do cleaning cycles with water and it is very likely that the taste will go away, otherwise, I should send it for servicing. I did 6 cycles, like the ones you do when you first get the machine, and indeed the taste disappeared. The machine now produces coffee normally. The taste of the coffee is stronger than that of the Lumio and without the espresso boost. The temperature of the coffee is also higher in the hottest setting of the Genio S compared to the Lumio. The espresso boost works properly and gives a very intense coffee flavor. I personally use it for cappuccino. So, if someone wants a smoother coffee taste, I would recommend the Lumio, while if they prefer a stronger taste, the Genio S. The water you use is of great importance, as with all coffee machines. I now feel that my coffee machine has been upgraded.
This particular machine was purchased on 10/01/2021, it is a very good machine, it makes high-quality coffee with a nice crema and intense flavor and aroma. I recommend it to those who are looking for a good machine with reasonable prices for the capsules. As an owner of a Nespresso machine, it makes a similar coffee with Nespresso being one step ahead in overall quality and experience.
Negatives: The capsules provide you with many options in terms of coffee types, as you can make excellent espresso, cappuccino, chocolate, tea, etc. However, they limit you dramatically as there are not enough options in our country at the moment in terms of capsule variety.
For anyone torn between Dolce Gusto and Nespresso, I would recommend Dolce for someone who desires variety in their beverages, and for someone who is looking for a good espresso and is not interested in other types of coffee, etc., I would recommend Nespresso without hesitation. Lastly, in terms of price, both are approximately at the same prices, which also applies to the capsules.
