  It has solved our hands.

  POSITIVES:
  1) It keeps the water continuously running and clean due to the filters.
  2) The cats prefer it and drink more water, which is essential especially for cats that mainly eat dry food.
  3) Large capacity in the tank, so you can be away for several days without worry.

  NEGATIVES:
  1) Obviously, you deal with spare parts, so you have an extra expense.
  2) The pump broke after about 3 years, and it wasn't worth getting a new one for 14 euros. So we got a new water fountain. Of course, in the meantime, there were many fluctuations in the power supply, and that might be why it broke.
  3) Cleaning is a bit... well, boring and troublesome, but it's not something terrible. You just add an extra task to your mind. We do a thorough cleaning once a month and change all the water once a week.

  OTHER COMMENTS:
  1) All three of our cats prefer the fountain WITHOUT the flower. So experiment and give it time.
  2) BE CAREFUL, in the summer the water evaporates faster, so fill it more often.

  This is our experience with 3 elderly cats.

  Amazing product with a nice design and special filtration to allow dogs to drink clean water all the time, which doesn't happen with regular bowls that can accumulate dust or dirt. It's quite quiet, my dogs love it, and even my parrot goes under the little flower and takes a bath... The only negative thing I find is that it leaks water... so wherever I place it, it's always wet, but I believe I can compromise with that.

  I had bought another water filter and had suffered with the spare parts that were nowhere to be found in Europe. This particular model has the advantage that you can easily find and buy a pump and filters (something I suggest you research thoroughly before settling on a model because if you can't find filters, or if the pump burns out and you have to buy the whole product, it's not worth it).
  Unfortunately, my cat never used it! He just liked the old model (which had a burnt-out pump) and for 2 days he preferred not to drink any water until I managed to fix the old model with a pump from an aquarium and several modifications to make it work! Those who have a cat understand me... so I have the water flower as a souvenir! However, I still believe it is a very good purchase!
