It is durable, it has two settings as mentioned in the description, like a regular hairdryer, for selecting the desired temperature that each setting provides. For repairing a mobile phone, you choose the low setting because the heat it produces is sufficient and it requires careful and continuous movement to detach the adhesive behind the screen. Follow the instructions for use regarding the initial use, allowing it to warm up for some time. It has a stand to keep it upright when it is hot, but also to cool down because the tip gets hot after use.   I bought it to try and restore some worn plastic parts inside and outside the car that had faded or had scratches. The heat it produces is more than enough for the average user and professionals alike. As for its durability over time, I don't have an opinion yet since I recently purchased it, but so far, the impression I have is very good and I believe it's worth its price! It's a tool that is good to have in our possession.

  (As for the tasks I wanted to do and whether or not I succeeded and to what extent, I must say that in some cases, the success was significant, but in others, especially on rough surfaces, it was quite challenging and the result was not as impressive as the videos I had seen on YouTube. Maybe I'm not doing it correctly. Where it has tremendous success is in restoring the color of faded plastic surfaces! It's like painting them. Specifically, it made some external plastic parts of the car and the bike, which had whitened due to the sun, look like new again, while on an exercise bike I have at home and had tried to clean something with acetone (yes, I committed that crime), it had completely lost its color and turned white! With the heat gun, within a minute, I restored it to its original black color and you can't even tell that such work has been done there!)
