  The popularity of this grinder is fully justified.

  Very fast, under a minute for 16 grams on the 11 setting and even faster on the 20+ setting for filter coffee, etc.
  It cannot be compared in any way to ceramic grinders, it is in a completely different category.
  Ceramic blades take a long time, it gets tiring for everyday use.
  As for cheap electric grinders with rotating blades, I don't even discuss it, they are only good for spices, they give poor results for coffee due to inconsistent grinding.

  If someone is going to spend money, the upgrade should be clear.
  Otherwise, cutting at the coffee shop would be better.

  Manual grinders offer much better VFM than electric ones. Their construction is much simpler without gears, motors, and external casing.
  If the construction is good, it's unlikely to break. When there are many moving parts, it's more likely for something to break.
  I would recommend an electric grinder in rare cases, for example, someone who has hand pain or simply wants the motor to do the work.
  In terms of money, a manual grinder always gives better results in the same category.

  It was purchased after a recommendation from a friend and it has improved the quality of my everyday coffee (I had a cheap ceramic grinder before). It is more suitable for coarse ground coffee, V60, Chemex, Aeropress (coarse grind), and less suitable for espresso due to the limited range on the fine scale and grinding time, although it works fine for a simple home espresso machine with a pressurized basket (it worked well for me even with a non-pressurized basket after some testing). Sturdy and high-quality construction for the price. Now I make cold brew every 3 days with freshly ground coffee!
