The curved screen makes it difficult to find screen protectors and the fact that some of its spare parts are still expensive are its negatives. Battery life lasts 1.5 days with strong usage.   I bought the mobile phone about 1 month ago, coming from Samsung s21. My experience so far:

  The mobile phone is generally good, although I consider it not to be value for money (Without VAT 500€).

  The battery barely lasts a day with normal use, but it is greatly saved by the 67w charger, which charges the phone from 20% to 100% in less than 40 minutes.

  The photos are very mediocre for such a phone, it has the classic problem of Xiaomi with excessive brightness, which unfortunately cannot be fixed even with Gcam. I haven't dealt much with video, but overall the lens has not impressed me. This also applies to the front camera. The screen is good, but it cannot be compared to Samsung by any means.

  In terms of speed, the phone is lightning fast. It doesn't lag anywhere and rarely shows any lag or freezing, which of course has nothing to do with the processor.

  If you want a phone for social media, browsing, gaming, and general everyday use, I think the phone is quite good.

  However, if you want it for photos, videos, etc., I do not recommend it. With the same money, you can get a Samsung that surpasses it in camera, screen, and video.

  It purely depends on what you want to use the phone for.

  Update: The camera is so frustratingly bad that I returned it and got the Samsung s23 ultra. With that amount of money, you expect the camera to be at least above average.

  I have had the phone since the first week it came to Greece.
  Coming from the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, needless to say, I was shocked by the features of this particular model. After all, it was the first time I spent so much money on a phone purchase (503€ without tax at the time). I consider the camera incredible in daylight conditions.
  At night, it's not as good as I would expect, but the flash improves it significantly.
  The battery is quite good. Due to work, I talk for about 3 hours a day with Bluetooth and a connected smartwatch, 5G, and Wi-Fi on from 7 in the morning. So, it's logical that by 9 in the evening, it's around 20%.
  The charging setting is very useful. If you plug it in at night, it synchronizes and completes the charging 10 minutes before your alarm goes off. I believe it gives life to the battery.
  It never freezes, even though I have several applications running due to work that often freeze on my 1000€ PC.
  It has been very convenient for me, and as you can see in the photo I have included, it does a good job in daylight.

  Why should someone get it:
  1. The best chassis to use with one hand. Very beautiful and the most comfortable I have held in my hand in recent years. Fits in any pocket without being bothersome.
  2. Very fast, no lag.
  3. Very beautiful.
  4. 67W charger included in the package and charges extremely fast without heating up.
  5. Amazing video stabilization and no serious lag.
  6. The main camera is very high quality, takes very good HDR photos.
  7. Pupg 4k HDR 60fps...
  8. The screen is so good that you want to open it every now and then just to look at it.
  9. No throttling (sd870 cpu... the best the company has built up to the 8th gen1 for most things)

  Why to avoid it:
  1. The wide-angle camera is so bad in average lighting that its FHD and 4k are the same... if it doesn't have good lighting, it is so bad that it would be better if they didn't include it and sold it cheaper. Also, the images come out so blurry that I thought there was a problem. But apparently, that's how the camera of this model is. The same camera somehow manages in photos. The wide-angle lens of the Poco F3 is the best I have used.
  3. The macro lens, because it doesn't have stabilization, it might be impossible to quickly capture something. If it's on a tripod, it's very good. It also focuses from 3 centimeters to 7. Still, the poco is somewhat better in this camera.
  4. It should be able to shoot 10-bit video since the processor supports it.

  As for the battery that many say doesn't last... We are definitely talking about people who play with their phones at work every now and then, or have so much free time that in this case, it would be better to get a laptop or a power bank!! Enough with the battery that we want to last for 20 hours straight!!! Personally, I leave home at 08:30 and when I return at 6, it's at 40%, even though I have talked on the phone, viber for half an hour, YouTube for 30 minutes, everything open (5g, BT, 120Hz, brightness), surfing the net for another 30 minutes, and a pubg match. If someone uses it more than that while at work, let me know where they work so I can send my resume!!

  If it had a better wide-angle or if it had 10-bit video, I would keep it. But at this price, you can't have it all anymore. So I will look for the 12 that shoots 10-bit, as far as I know.

  Apart from the negatives, it is the best someone can get if they don't care much about wide-angle and night shots on all lenses.

  P.S.: I am involved in video as a side job, with blackmagic cameras, gimbals, editing, and color grading. So I pay attention to some details that most people may not realize.

  I have had the mobile phone for 2 months and it performs incredibly fast, with clear calls and very nice speakers with good bass but not too loud. If any of your friends have an iPhone 14, put it next to this one to see that a cheaper phone has a better screen than some others... we won't mention names, we won't offend anyone's families. The camera is very good and the videos are very nice. If some people say it doesn't perform well, they are probably the ones who eat gyros with Coca Cola Zero, don't listen to them, they won't gain weight!

  I have it from the first week it came to the Greek market and I bought it for 560 euros!! It is the first Xiaomi smartphone I have bought (because for some reason I didn't like this company) and I can say that I was pleasantly surprised!!   Former mi9 owner. I just wanted an upgrade without having any issues with the 9th (it served me well).
  But let's talk about the 12x...
  The screen is excellent.
  The sound is high quality, with Dolby and all.
  The main camera is decent, just like the macro... but the ultra-wide is not good. (I admit I miss the Tele of mi9)
  I noticed a difference in video compared to mi9... it's very fair in terms of price.
  The processor never overheated compared to the induction stoves gen 1 and 888.

  As the owner of the 12X for two weeks now, I would like to share my experience so far.

  Firstly, I should mention that my previous devices were the Mi 8 for two years, followed by the Poco F2 Pro for another two years. I believe this is important because the reader and potential buyer should know the basis of comparison that each of us has when evaluating.

  I switched to the Poco F2 Pro without any complaints or issues and chose the 12X for its value for money.

  Now let's talk about the device...
  ▪️The phone has an amazing display, AMAZING. Compared to my brother's iPhone 13 Pro Max, the difference is staggering, as I had it the day before yesterday.
  ▪️The main camera is very good, and the selfie camera is decent.
  ▪️The battery is flawless, but I won't go into details because it depends on each person's usage. It charges in half an hour (67W). The charger and cable are included in the package! Other brands don't include them!
  ▪️The sound is truly impressive. In everyday moments when I used the JBL flip 5 at home, in the bathroom, etc., the 12X took its place. It's not about the volume, but the quality that leaves you amazed.
  ▪️The device size is 6.28"...it took me years back. The phablets we all hold in our hands, better in the hands because they require two hands... With this, you can do everything with one hand. It fits comfortably in a pocket, etc. The size may seem strange and surprising at first, but you get used to it. And, like me, it will win you over in the end.
  If I had to find a flaw, it would be the speaker during calls. Because of such a large screen, the speaker is on top and not in front of the screen. So, you have to adjust it to your ear to hear better and not let others around you hear in a quiet environment.

  In terms of performance, the reliable Snapdragon 870 won't disappoint you.

  Overall, I believe that at the price range of €450-500, you can blindly buy it. Instead of spending that much on a mid-range device from any brand, you get a true flagship.

  P.S. The main camera is good, especially with gcam for night shots, it takes it to another level on this device.

  First of all, I will talk about its size, which is the best I have ever held. It can be easily operated with one hand. Solid construction and very high quality. Perfect screen! I also have the redmi note 10 pro, which has one of the best screens, and the 12 Pro is even better. In terms of speed, it is simply flawless and has very good battery management. I haven't been able to increase the temperature, the 870 processor is perfect. Photos are very good, as well as videos. The sound is of good quality with bass, but not too loud compared to the 10 pro. The 10 pro has louder sound but no comparison in terms of quality. Anyone considering buying it doesn't need to think twice, it is a complete device that I believe lacks nothing. Its size is a big advantage.

  Owner here for a week now coming from Huawei p40! Definitely has an excellent screen, the colors are amazing, the battery seems to easily last the day and theoretically this will improve even more in the future!
  Now, in terms of the camera, after several tests with the p40, I see that Xiaomi wins in details in photography, but it definitely loses in zoom, where the p40 is significantly better!!

  After several tests, the video seems to have its issues, I hope it will improve with an update.

  Update: The battery consistently lasts for one and a half days with a refresh rate permanently set at 120Hz! The fingerprint sensor is very responsive! Overall, so far it seems like an excellent choice, especially considering the price one can find it for... the only issue remains the video, which has the same problem as the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, so theoretically it will be fixed with an upgrade.

  Update 3/5/2023: Almost 1 year later, completely satisfied with my choice, although hesitant at first as it was my first Xiaomi device! Even now, with full usage and data open all day, the device rarely drops below 25-30%!

  I have had the mobile phone for 2 weeks! The battery, which was my biggest concern, is perfect, with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, music at full volume for about 1 hour every day, and moderate use for 4 hours a day, with data on all day, my phone lasts 1.5 days. When I go to bed at night, I have 37%-52% battery, depending on usage. The screen resolution is BY FAR THE BEST I have ever experienced, even better than the S22+ that I used for half an hour, they can't be compared...
