The Kyrie 8 offers a snug, customized fit, enhanced responsiveness in the forefoot, and lateral traction, allowing players to accelerate and decelerate on demand, as well as utilize the space they create.
Kyrie wants his shoes to offer a snug feel and a custom fit like a boxing glove. The dynamic internal straps extend to the surface of the upper and the laces pass through them. When the laces are tightened, the straps secure providing an extremely tight yet comfortable feel and stable fit.
The updated three-layer cushioning system uses an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot that is placed between the molded insole and the soft foam. The reduced amount of foam and fewer layers ensure better court feel and unleash the energy return potential of the Zoom unit.
The modern outsole for multi-directional movement is designed with Kyrie's on-court movements in mind during cuts and drives, providing traction exactly where needed. The highly stable rubber wraps around the sides, particularly on the inside of the heel and toes, ensuring control during lateral movements and changes of direction.

Very good shoes. Personally, they haven't caused me any problems, the only downside is the traction outside. It's better not to wear them outside because they will get damaged. They are also very nice! I bought them 4 months ago and I can say that they are great. They have a big problem with the size. If you wear, for example, size 41, it's better to get size 43 because they are very narrow. However, they are not worth their money.
I play positions 2 and 1. They suit me quite well. They have an air sole in the front that prevents pain after a long training session. The only downside is that it takes a few workouts for their traction to become good, about 1 month for me. They get relatively dirty, but they are not suitable for outdoor use because I believe their traction will deteriorate quickly. As for the cushion set up, they have done a good job as they have this thing in the front as I mentioned before, and in the back it's not particularly soft but not hard either. If you play for 2 hours, your foot will start to hurt. ..... (their traction will never be perfect)
