I needed it twice for two different cars. As soon as I connected the terminals to the battery, they started right up. I recommend it without a second thought.

I tried it on a 110 horsepower tractor with a dead battery (it wasn't empty but couldn't turn the starter on its own at that moment), and it turned the starter for about 1 minute until it ran out. If I didn't have an issue with the power supply, it would have been more than enough to start the engine.

Very good build quality. I can't understand how it can be so lightweight and compact and still have so much power, with a compressor and flashlight. Well done.

* Here in the store catalog, they have included 2 models, the j401 which doesn't have a compressor and is cheaper, and the ja302 which does. Be careful what you order.

It easily starts the Touareg 4200cc v8 with a battery at 11.0v. I am a former owner of a similar Telwin starter that broke within three years.
