  It has been very convenient for me and the cats use it. The pump needs cleaning about once a month. It starts making a slightly different sound (like a low hum) when it needs cleaning. It needs to be refilled every day to maintain the water level.

  I would have liked the instructions to say that the pump can be disassembled for cleaning because at first I struggled a lot trying to clean it and thought I needed a new pump, but it just needed a deep cleaning.

  It consistently makes a sound like a small Feng Shui fountain, which is understandable but someone might not expect it.

  The pump breaks quickly. Within 6 months, I had to replace it for the second time. It quickly fills up with dirt and mold. It requires regular cleaning. It's not worth the money.

  The mechanism broke after 6 months. Its cleaning is demanding. Every 3 days, you need to disassemble and clean it well because it collects not only dirt but also a lot of salt (even though we exclusively used bottled water). The metal part corroded with cleaning using a soft sponge. Expensive for its quality. I would not recommend it for purchase.
