It's been about 28 years since Earth Defense developed the Yellow Cherry and the Red Fox to stop the impending invasion from an unknown alien race. 52 light-years away, at the edge of our galaxy, the threat has reared its ugly head once again.

There's only one thing to do, dust off the best Earth Defense ships ever built and defeat the aliens. Obviously, these relics from a forgotten war era had seen better days, and only one ship, the Yellow Cherry, could be salvaged using parts from the Red Fox, which was severely damaged in the past war.
