  From the outside, they don't get damaged; I've had them for a year with daily use on dirt roads due to work. They have been submerged in water many times, and I must say they are indeed waterproof, but you need to make sure they are well tied. I give 4 out of 5 only and ONLY for one reason: I don't understand why, but I've heard it from others too; unfortunately, I didn't believe it and I was caught out— the sizes are wrong! In size 43, which I normally wear in all shoes, these feel like size 44, so I had to get a pretty thick insole to solve the problem. Other than that, an excellent shoe, quite a high sole, and you can walk on spikes and rocks (this also means that it’s not very soft like running shoes with airy soles, but it’s not hard either, so it absorbs shocks and you don’t get tired walking). Anyone with wide feet will especially enjoy them because they don't squeeze at all; from the first day I wore them, I could go for a walk. I hope I helped

  This is not a shoe excavator, it is... heavy shoes, the heaviest shoes I have ever worn. I like to feel like I'm wearing them, it looks great, comfortable walking, warm. The only thing that bothers me is that they stick everywhere, which is logical because they will never come off. Probably, out of all the brands, Cat will now become my brand

  It is very sturdy!! I bought them for my 18-year-old son. In 7 months, I have washed them 4 times in the washing machine and they haven't shown any signs of wear and tear!!
  They are great for walking!.. And today I ordered the same ones in black (hopefully they will be just as good)!.. Very good! Great value for money so far..
