I have had the smartphone for 5 days now and I am more than excited. The battery lasts about 2.5 days (I don't play games) and I surf a lot. The screen is very good, bright and dark when needed. The 90 hertz are noticeable. The sound is also good for the price. The camera takes amazingly good photos. Better than some more expensive smartphones. Clear recommendation to buy!
Never again Samsung. I have owned 3 phones from this brand in the past and I have not been satisfied with any of them. I hoped that with the change of device something would change, but every time I feel it was worse. I have had this one for not even 1.5 years and it freezes for no reason. The storage space is not even close to being full and it struggles. I never let it fill up overnight, and since I bought it, I set it to charge up to 80% for "greater battery safety." Now if I put it to charge already from 20%, it heats up from the back. I won't even comment on the fact that when you first get it, it takes okay photos, but over time the camera deteriorates? I don't know. Terrible photos. As I mentioned, I have had it for not even 1.5 years, and when you go to take a photo, it captures it after 5 working days. The video quality is awful. In one hour of simply listening to music with the phone off, it went from 80% to 59%. Also, regarding the battery, two weeks ago it turned off at night, which is normal since I don't charge it, but in the morning when I woke up and turned it on, it wouldn't turn on. I plugged in the charger and it vibrated strongly and continuously until I disconnected the charger, and it did this 2 to 3 times. I am NOT AT ALL satisfied because when you buy a phone, you don't expect that after a year and a half you will have to spend around 300 euros again for a new one. I bought this one for 270 and I do NOT recommend it AT ALL. One star is way too much; I just can't not give it any!
The A33 already for a year and a half, sometimes charged, sometimes didn't, hide and seek. Yesterday it wouldn't charge at all. I asked Samsung, they told me the two-year warranty is not valid, it expired two months ago. I took it elsewhere for cheaper, 40 euros for a replacement plus repair, it needs a replacement board. I find it very unfair, I never used a wrong plug to break it, I had a book cover case, it never fell down or into water, I take great care. Since it was already half broken after a year, I believe they should have fixed it for free. That's why 2 *, I won't buy Samsung again.
I have had the phone for 3-4 months coming from the A13 (obviously I bought it used), usage includes a few photos, messages, and calls, not even social networks. For the photos, I don't want anything special like a flagship because I don't take many, so for this use, it is perfectly fine and clearly a much better camera than the A13. The processor is quite good even though I don't play many games. One of the reasons I upgraded was the AMOLED display, as well as the camera. It bothers me a little that it is 6.4 inches and not 6.2, but it is midrange, which nowadays tends to be larger.
I have had the device for 3 years and for its price, it is good. The battery, however, runs out a bit quickly after 2 years. The camera has good quality. Lastly, the device only comes with the charging cable and you have to buy the adapter separately, which costs 30€, so it loses points there as well
Unfortunately, the worst device that has passed through my hands. I have had the mobile phone for 1 year and the battery is destroyed. The device comes without a charger and always had issues with another charger for Samsung that I have. In terms of speed, it is neither too slow nor too fast, so I can't complain. I chose the mobile phone to have a great camera, which it ultimately doesn't have. Overall, a disappointment that I regret spending my money on. Please, if anyone knows a store for device recycling, to inform me so I can get something better
I have the Samsung S20 Ultra 5G and I bought it for my wife a year and a half ago. It is so trouble-free in its operation and good at all levels that if I needed to buy a new mobile phone, I would think very carefully if it is worth spending more money on a mobile phone.
Purchased for 250€ in February 2023. I don't know if the usage I make of it is for high demands, but the phone is extremely slow. In hindsight, I would have preferred to go for a phone with a better processor.
It has taken so many falls, so many hits there with a case it doesn't understand something very important for me when I buy a mobile phone, that is to be durable. The battery lasts at least 1 day and it is very fast. I bought it for 270€ 1.5 years ago and its price has dropped only 35€ so maybe I would look at the new model of the series or something else. For someone looking in this price range, it is a very good choice.
Owner for almost one and a half years and I can say that the phone really flies without any problems. I read about various issues here, but I haven't encountered anything similar so far.
As much as I've worked with it, what has impressed me is its screen, which I consider amazing (given its price), as well as its responsiveness.
It is an excellent phone for its price, and as I always say, you have to be aware of what you are buying and what you are asking for, depending on the amount of money you will spend. It doesn't make sense to compare it to high-end devices worth thousands and then say that it's not worth it as a device.
Finally, I would like to mention that as long as the warranty (and even beyond) is valid, there is an exceptional service from Samsung that is hard to find in other companies.
Positive: Very good photos and videos. Battery lasts for one day for sure.
Negative: Many charging problems. The humidity sensor keeps turning on without any reason and sometimes it stays discharged
Until the update, there was absolutely no problem with the upgrade. It doesn't charge, it freezes, and a couple of other things that I forget now
Terrible photos. Much worse than the phones I had with a simple 5MP camera. Also problematic during calls. Many times I call someone and they tell me they can't hear me at all and I have to call them again. The same happens if I press the speakerphone button. Money wasted.
In calls, I can hear and be heard clearly both with headphones and with the speaker, but there is difficulty in being heard in open listening. I am satisfied with everything else!
For so much money, it's not worth it. For less, yes, I've had it for 1 year and some months and from the beginning it started doing strange things. It would freeze slowly and sometimes it would catch, other times it wouldn't. Overall, I regret it a lot, 320€ lost in my opinion.
Phone defective from the first week, the company did not make a replacement no matter how much we tried. Money wasted.
I have had it for 1 and a half months and I have no complaints. I was torn between this and the A34. In terms of capabilities, there are not significant differences. I chose it purely for its dimensions.
VFM the mobile, without problems for a year now. Plenty of functions that cover you at all levels. Waterproof as stated, tested in a pool. A device that holds its resale value. It never froze during this time, it heats up like most phones when you push them, but not excessively to impress me. The back of the phone is mainly made of plastic, but with this money, you don't expect them to give you a phone made of aluminum alloy... Let's not forget, you get what you pay for.
Very nice phone and I recommend it to everyone, it's worth its money but the negative thing is that it gets very hot after 10 minutes of continuous use
I used to own a poco M3 and within a year it died and never turned on again, so I decided to go back to Samsung since my previous Samsung phone lasted me 5 years. However, it seems that Samsung has also declined because the phone is not worth its money.
1) It heats up like a radiator when playing games and also freezes frequently.
2) When the phone is in your pocket, it does whatever it wants, making random calls and taking pictures on its own, which is very annoying.
3) The device is made of cheap plastic material to the point where the back cover bends with a finger press.
4) There are many times when the screen simply freezes completely and you can't do anything except wait for it to unfreeze.
The poco M3 was far better for me, except that it had issues within 1 year and was almost half the price of this one. I will definitely not choose Samsung again.
I have had the phone for about 4 months, at first I was completely satisfied with everything. You know what you're buying and I didn't have incredible expectations, but for whatever use I made it was fine. Around the 3-month mark, it started to have some very bad freezes (e.g. it wouldn't close from anywhere, not from a button or from the settings, nor could I press anything on the screen, things that I have seen reported by others). The freezes repeated 3 times until they stopped. Its battery has dropped significantly without changing anything in the way I charge it and without doing anything wrong. Its photos are mediocre to quite good. The speed has dropped significantly lately. Now that the weather is getting warmer, it burns incredibly much... I wouldn't recommend it, it's better to go for xiaomi.
After the Samsung A70, I got this device and so far I have been using it for 3 months and I am absolutely satisfied. No problems with calls or freezing, the battery is great, the photos are good, nice screen, waterproof, speakers are good, what else could you want from a device. We also have an A53 at home and the differences are minimal.
Three stars because one works and one doesn't with face recognition. It's incredibly annoying. If someone wants to use this feature on their phone, they should know they will get frustrated. Also, the recognition doesn't work in low light. I use an iPhone 11 and have no issues with face recognition, even in the dark.
Good so far (I've had it for a month).
2. The face recognition is a major flaw (hence the 3 stars), as it works sometimes and not others.
3. Also, you need to be in a well-lit area or it will never work.
4. I also couldn't set up the fingerprint input.
5. Hopefully, it will be fixed in a future update.
A decent phone for its price. I should note that I'm not one of those who are constantly on their phone. I just want a phone to occasionally use Google Maps, browse the web, and listen to music for about 1-1.5 hours a day (Spotify with Galaxy Buds Live) at the gym.
The battery easily lasts me 2 days and can approach 3. I always turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when I don't need them, and I've never charged it above 85% (it has an option for battery life).
The only thing I find slightly annoying is the screen brightness on a sunny day... it could be a little better. But for €266 that I got it for, I have no complaints.
Also, the camera could be a little better (although my previous phone was a 2017 Sony X-Peria A1 which, without zooming in too much, I think took better photos).
Its speed is more than satisfactory for everyday use (I don't play games), and the fingerprint sensor works perfectly.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
It was bought for 270 euros a few months before the new model came out for someone who doesn't know much about technology. A very good purchase, just keep in mind the following in relation to other phones at this price. I wouldn't have bought it at the price it was when it was released, but for 270 it's a steal.
Positives:
+ 4 years of Android and 1 security update, no comparison to Xiaomi budget phones that have 2 Android updates and start from an old Android version.
+ Good and stable software. OneUI > MIUI
Negatives:
- Worse processor compared to Xiaomi models at this price. The Exynos is slightly worse in battery life, temperatures, and performance than the Snapdragon. Also, sometimes there are minor lags during the use of the phone, something I haven't seen in Snapdragon processors.
- 90hz instead of 120hz that we find at this price, but this is a minor criticism.
The battery is terrible, lasting less than 15 hours without even heavy usage. There are functional issues, for example it displays "not registered on network". It's not worth it for Samsung and the money spent.
Indeed, it has a very good speaker, a short battery life, but at the same time, a very fast charging. I recommend it.
In all functions and everything else, it's great. The only thing that bothers me is the battery life, which lasts a maximum of one day, and the speed (90Hz instead of 120Hz). Otherwise, it's a very good phone.
