Description

Contains:

Amylase: An enzyme that breaks down starch (carbohydrate) and glycogen in food into simple sugars.

Lipase: An enzyme that breaks down fats into fatty acids.

Protease: An enzyme that has the ability to break down proteins.

Glucoamylase: An enzyme that breaks down specific carbohydrates, maltooligosaccharides (e.g. maltodextrins), into glucose.

Cellulase: An enzyme that breaks down cellulose, which is present in (plant) dietary fibers.

Lactase (β-galactosidase): An enzyme necessary for the digestion of lactose (carbohydrate [sugar] found in cow's milk). Lactase breaks down the sugars in milk into simpler forms that can be absorbed into the bloodstream. The hydrolysis of lactose is catalyzed by the enzyme β-galactosidase, which is specialized in hydrolyzing β-galactosidic bonds.

Invertase: An enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis (breakdown) of sucrose (common sugar) into fructose and glucose, usually in the form of invert sugar.

Maltase: An enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the disaccharide maltose into glucose.

α-galactosidase: Specialized enzyme that hydrolyzes glycoproteins and glycolipids containing α-galactosidic bonds.

Phytase: An enzyme that breaks down phytic acid. Phytic acid is the basic form of phosphorus storage in many plant tissues, especially in cereal varieties (wheat, rice, barley, etc.) and beans. In this form, phosphorus is not bioavailable due to the lack of the phytase enzyme, which releases phosphorus from the molecule. It is an important enzyme for humans as our bodies cannot produce it.

Xylanase: An enzyme that breaks down the linear polysaccharide β-1,4-xylan into xylose, thus breaking down hemicellulose, which is the main component of plant cell walls.

Hemicellulase: An enzyme that breaks down hemicellulose, a polysaccharide that is a dietary fiber and is found in the cell wall of plants along with cellulose.

β-glucanase: An enzyme that breaks down the polysaccharide β-1,4-glucan, which is found in oats and barley, into glucose (monosaccharide). It is an important enzyme for humans as our bodies cannot produce it.

The product also contains the probiotic strain Lactobacillus acidophilus in order to promote the growth and balance of the normal intestinal flora (microflora), thus enhancing the body's defense against pathogenic organisms of the digestive system, as probiotic strains create colonies of "good" microorganisms that in turn eliminate pathogenic microorganisms responsible for a range of gastrointestinal disorders.

Digest Gold is also useful for those who suffer from health problems that are not necessarily related to digestion.

It helps reduce the expenditure of enzymes for digestion, allowing the body to focus on producing metabolic enzymes necessary for the functioning of other systems.

Thus, for example, the immune, cardiovascular, endocrine, and nervous systems, among others, can benefit. Individuals with lipase deficiency will also benefit.

Contains 3000 FCCFIP (active units) of lipase per capsule.

Lipase is the enzyme responsible for the digestion of fats, lipids, and triglycerides.

Recommended use: 1 capsule at the beginning of each meal. More capsules can be taken if needed per meal.
