  Very good quality stainless steel, but with relatively thin walls, as the "weight" of the pot, without the lid, is 1167g and the lid is 544g. The base of the pot seems to have good thickness, but after two hours of use, it stopped being flat and has deformed more in the center, compared to a pot after 36 years of use, with dimensions 24cmX13cm and a weight almost double, 1944g. For reasons of objectivity, I am uploading photos of the base of the new and the old pot. So the weight is a good indication for purchasing a pot. I also hope the handles hold up, as they seemed relatively small and thin for the size of the pot: diameter 26cm and height 20cm and capacity 3.14*13cm*13cm*20cm=10,613.2cm3, which is about 10.6 liters.
