BCAA Xpress
Leucine, isoleucine, and valine are part of the branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) family. BCAAs are essential amino acids for humans that the body cannot produce, so it is important to obtain them through diet or supplements. They represent about 35% of the essential amino acids in muscle proteins. The correct amount and type of amino acids are crucial for developing and maintaining muscle mass.
BCAA Xpress contains branched-chain amino acids in a 2:1:1 ratio, as they naturally occur in the body. It offers a convenient way to supplement these amino acids. It is also flavored for a more pleasant taste experience.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It does its job like any other BCAA and quite well, the mango flavor is very nice, slightly sweet I would say but overall it tends towards a neutral taste
The smell is awful. However, the taste is really nice and it is enjoyable with cold water. The solubility is very good and effortless. Now let's talk about the... essence. It was used for a month with a dosage of 5 gr. as stated on the packaging immediately after the workout.
My workout includes one day of 8-10 km running or 30-35 km cycling, and the other day is weightlifting (full body). I don't rest any day.
As for running, I didn't see any improvement in endurance. There was a marginal improvement in weightlifting, visible but small. My diet is strict and I follow a nutritionist's program diligently. I weigh 70 kg and my goal is not to gain or lose a gram but to improve the fat/muscle ratio.
So, mixed feelings. To be honest, I didn't expect miracles, but I expected a little more in terms of endurance and a bit more in weightlifting, which didn't happen.
Perhaps one month is ultimately a short period to evaluate such products.
My experience tells me that protein powders have more visible results, at least for me, compared to the amino acids I have tried from time to time.
I'm not saying it's a bad or good product, I just expected a little more considering the workout I do.
