Very oily. They protect the hands. I have been using them for 2 months, about 2 times a week, and they have no wear. They also have an absorbent fabric that is convenient for wiping off a bit of sweat.

I bought them for use with the steering wheel I have, an alcantara steering wheel. They are very lightweight in the hand with a nice feel. If you want gloves for such a purpose, I think they are the best choice.
