improves gut ecology and prevents the growth of pathogenic microbes by inhibiting their adhesion to the intestinal walls, changing the pH and oxygen content, and producing bactericidal substances (H2O2, lactic and acetic acid, etc.

produces enzymes, including lactase, which is necessary for the assimilation of milk sugar. In this way, it helps people who cannot tolerate milk, especially breastfeeding infants.
