Did you find this review helpful?I bought the Google ChromeCast Gen4 for wired internet connection. The ChromeCast has lightning-fast menus and responsiveness! It finally reaches the full 100Mbps on the speedtest, which is the capacity of my line.
I also tried it on MacOS Monterey, and it was plug and play without any issues. It appears as an AX88179A device.
In terms of temperature, it feels a little warm when touched, so I assume it reaches around 35-40 degrees Celsius.
It has a nice construction made of matte aluminum. The cable is a bit longer compared to other usb-c hubs I have.
