The best thing about it is its great shock absorption, it doesn't slip on any surface, even on downhill slopes you can feel it. However, it is not suitable for rough roads with mild dirt or rocks. It is perfect for forest roads and soft trails with low inclines

Did you find this review helpful? For the past 8 months, I have been running with this shoe for over 700km, in training and races.
The negatives:
- It gives a feeling of looseness in the heel, but in practice, it does not create a problem. It can be solved with proper lacing/tightening.
- Due to its height (stack height), despite being a fairly wide shoe, it becomes slightly unstable on uneven terrain with a significant lateral incline. To correct the above, it is not enough to simply tighten the laces too much because it does not have much padding in the tongue (the price of being lightweight). If you tighten the laces too much, you will pay for it with pain on the instep. It requires a moderate tightening, and this slows you down in races when adjusting the laces in the middle of the race. There is also the BOA version which presumably solves this problem, but it is more expensive.
The positives:
- It is extremely lightweight (for a trail shoe).
- It is very durable. Nothing has torn or come apart except for a reinforcement inside at the front of the toes. It is like a lining and does not bother much. It came off on the last pair of shoes, after extensive use and getting wet in races.
- Tremendous grip on dry and wet surfaces (vibram).
- Incredibly comfortable. After 44km of mountain running, I didn't have a single blister on my foot while others were counting their lost toenails.I tried the Mont Blancs and the La Sportiva Akasha 2 afterwards, and it was the worst purchase I have made (I will write a review for the Akasha at some point).
My next purchase will either be the Mont Blancs again or the Lone Peak 7s.
