They are shoes for specific use. Compared to Nike and Reebok counterparts, they are less rigid. They provide support for weight training exercises such as squats, lifts, and lunges, etc. They are not for walking and everyday use. They are also not for running beyond the short runs you do during a workout. If you do exercises with pulleys, aerobic exercises, and core exercises, you don't need them. For me, who has almost nonexistent arch on my left foot, it is slightly harder on this foot
