1. Do not place the baby unit inside the crib, nor in a spot where the baby can grab it with their hands. On the other hand, the further away you place it, the more the sound clarity decreases. Conduct tests and place the unit at the farthest point from the child, from where the device can still pick up even the lowest sounds and transmit them clearly.
2. The baby should not be able to reach the device's connection/charging cables. Ensure they do not have access to them.
3. Check if the parent unit goes out of range, runs out of battery, or is on mute or low volume while it is not in your line of sight. The out-of-range or battery replacement/recharging alert functions that many intercom systems have are useful in this regard.

Very good analysis, sound, and range. We also had the old model and it's worth the extra money, mainly because of the wi-fi connection. Highly recommended.
I had the previous model and because the screen stopped charging, the company replaced it with this model. It is by far the worst one they have released. In less than six months, it lost signal and the screen never found the camera. We sent it back for replacement after much pressure and after a month they sent us the new one. The new one starts losing signal and restarting on its own in less than a week. I do not recommend it for any reason. Your money is wasted!
The price is a personal matter of each individual's wallet and I do not criticize it.
Otherwise, the device is reliable. It offers the possibility of direct connection between the camera and the screen, either through WiFi network. In a maisonette, I have no issue with the range even without WiFi.
PACKAGE CONTENTS:
Receiver - camera, monitor - screen, two micro USB chargers with non-detachable 2-meter cables, and a manual.
MONITOR:
Zoom is not done through the camera lens but through the screen, which magnifies either 2X or 4X a section (frame) of the display, which you can move yourself through the screen device to frame properly.
The battery lasts 3-4 hours with continuous display, but there is also the ECO option that activates the screen with sound or motion detection.
The image resolution is satisfactory. In a dark room, the image is clear (black and white, of course).
There is a microphone button as well as music playback and activation of soft lighting from the receiver-camera device.
The screen displays not only the battery level but also the room temperature.
The antenna can be raised at the user's choice.
The quality of the plastics is very good (dropping on a hard surface resulted in only one internal clip breaking).
RECEIVER - CAMERA:
In addition to the obvious, it also has a speaker for music playback and intercom through the screen's microphone.
It also has warm white light, even and in the most intense of the three available settings.
There is no stand or crane for placement above the baby's crib. However, if someone is not served by placing it on the nightstand, you can solve the problem with a screw on a vertical surface (e.g. wall).
APPLICATION:
The "BABY MONITOR" app is extremely user-friendly for use on mobile phones, even remotely (outside the house). The image in FHD setting is even better, with all the functions available through the monitor AND ADDITIONALLY the ability to take photos or videos, the files of which are stored on the mobile phone.
We have had it for 6 months, it broke, it has no range at all and it keeps blinking. Even though it has a warranty, we took it to an authorized service center after speaking with Philips and it has been a month and we still don't have a camera.
Good construction quality but overpriced. In a maisonette between 2 floors, it often loses signal without being in eco mode. The sound on the monitor, even when it's at maximum, requires absolute silence to be heard comfortably. At night, with lights in the room, the night vision is terrible for the money it costs. Also, the battery life of the monitor is quite average. I haven't tried the app yet. If I had known earlier, I would definitely have bought something cheaper.
After 3 months of use and after installing the app on my phone and updating the unit, I am revising my previous evaluation... the sound has improved significantly, the night vision is very good (you can clearly see the mesh of the crib where the baby sleeps...). The app is very good, it keeps your mind at ease as it notifies you of noise or movement even if your phone screen is off. If you find it on sale, don't hesitate... I bought it for 280 from prenatal.

Very good construction and quality, a little more expensive than the simple ones but worth the money. The monitor is user-friendly and its battery lasts quite a bit. When you are away from home, you can connect with the app and view from your mobile. If you are looking for something more, this is it
