The Ascent is a single-player or multiplayer action shooter RPG set in a cyberpunk world. The mega-corporation you and everyone else belong to, The Ascent Group, has just collapsed. Welcome to the urban environment of The Ascent Group, a self-contained, corporate-controlled metropolis that stretches high into the sky and is filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. You play as a worker, a slave to the corporation you and everyone else in your area belong to. You carry out the tasks assigned to you, no matter how humble they may be. One day, while on a routine mission to use your skills with a cyberdeck, you suddenly find yourself trapped in a vortex of catastrophic events. The Ascent Group, the largest mega-corporation on the planet, shuts down for unknown reasons, causing the collapse of automated security systems. The survival of your district is at risk: rival corporations are trying to take it over by force, and criminal syndicates are trying to boost the trade of augmentations on the black market. You must arm yourself to prevent them from taking control and embark on a new mission to find out what started it all.
Meet new allies and enemies and find loot as you explore the vast world of The Ascent and its wide variety of districts, from the slums to the highest sphere of luxury.
Aim low or high, switch weapons and equip yourself with deadly devices, take cover and use the destroyed environment to your advantage, and keep adapting your tactics as you face new enemies.

It is an Action RPG of the Titan Quest type but in post-apocalyptic conditions. It has decent graphics, keeps you in suspense, and has nice sound. There are, of course, some points that should have been done better. For example, the dialogues, which are peculiar with strange terminology, and sometimes you can't follow them. I think it could have had more depth in terms of its story. Otherwise, it's worth it without being top of its kind

Awesome game, a mix of Diablo-like gameplay in a cyberpunk world. If you like top-down shooters, get it blindly. Despite being an indie game, it has exceptional graphics and the gunplay is addictive. The story is somewhat indifferent.
