Only one plastic tip came off without me noticing, but I was lucky because I found another one on the trail.   They did the job very well but unfortunately only for two times. The first trip with them (16 km) was absolutely satisfactory. On the second trip (63 km), one of the two got stuck in the position you see in the photo. They haven't become useless, they are fully functional but unfortunately, they are no longer convenient for transport. I think they are for more relaxed outings and less weight. I wouldn't buy them again. I might look for something better and set these aside as a backup.

  We got them about 4 years ago based on reviews and we don't regret it.

  Very durable, convenient, comfortable, now an integral part for hiking. They store easily. They adjust relatively satisfactorily, without having experience from others.

  We usually use the caps and not the spikes. When I lost a cap, we bought replacements from the internet for loss/wear situations.

  I recommend it to those who want something affordable and effective.
