First of all, I should mention that the tires were installed on an electric Nissan Leaf, a heavy car weighing 1600 kilograms with a Japanese conservative setup for comfort and not for fast driving, so the conclusions are subjective and may not apply to other models.
First impression, how quiet they are; in EVs that have no engine noise, this is clearly noticeable, and they stand out in this area. Also, they lightened the steering and it turns more easily.
On dry surfaces, the grip is good, predictable, but not top-notch, without providing anything extra. I had expectations for something better but I don't know if it's due to the tire or the car's setup. Something I can't explain logically is that during the heatwaves in July, with temperatures of 40-42 degrees, the tire showed reduced grip and spun easily; this is something I haven't found an answer for as to why it happened; as soon as the temperature dropped, the phenomenon stopped.
The big surprise was in the wet where I didn't expect it to perform so steadily and predictably. Except for the slickness of light rain, you drive and forget that you're driving through water; it has never put me in a difficult position so far (driving, of course, with caution!!). It’s probably more of a rain tire.
In terms of consumption, I didn't see a significant difference compared to the Michelin Primacy 4 that the vehicle had before.
So far, I have driven 10,000 km, so I can't yet speak about wear.
Having read and heard mainly positive reviews, I am neither disappointed nor particularly excited about these tires, and for the next change, I would like to try something different in the same price category, without considering these a bad choice, perhaps just not the optimal one.
Edit: After 30,000 kilometers, the wear is at normal levels and the tread still has life, but the grip has decreased and the car understeers easily. Definitely for the next change, I will not put them on again.
