Well, we laughed so hard with the vacuum cleaner. If you don't have a pet, it's almost the same (only instead of shedding hair, it collects them).
I'll start with the highlight of the achievement, just on the 2nd day we had it. I'm in the living room and I sent it to work. I hear noise in the bathroom, I laugh in advance. I go inside and what do I see, the vacuum cleaner got stuck in the bathroom!! I have a door stopper, it took it under its armpit and somehow managed to wedge itself in the corner of the door from the inside! I heard it struggling and it was impossible to move (or to open the door myself!) Somehow, while it was struggling, it found a slipper and literally "surfed", went a little further inside and finally I managed to open it by 10cm and put a stick to move it! I'M CRYING FROM LAUGHTER WHEN I REMEMBER IT!
In conclusion. Everything has been written perfectly by the others, the vacuum cleaner really exists (without knowing or caring what the competitors are doing).
My points:
- If you use a swiffer every 1-2 days, THAT'S IT. The concept of "sweeping/dusting" on the floor is abolished, directly wiping (by hand) every 4-7 days. Its own mopping is for maintenance/forgetting on the parquet. It's not bad, but only with water and with so little pressure, it doesn't work.
- I never saw hair in the bathroom again. Just for that, 5 stars and whatever amount of money XIAOMI wants.
- I never saw that purple/gray fluff under the bed again. I see it all in its bin and I like it.
- It has a good app, it tries to provide a lot of flexibility and maybe it succeeds.
- Good build quality. If they told us it was Apple and it had an apple, we would believe it.
- If you want to save a hundred, take the lowest model without a mop. Even if it has lower autonomy (mine loses ±20% after a full program everywhere with sweeping and mopping) and lower suction power (I usually put it at 60%-80% from 100% - at 100% it acts like Takis Tsoukalas in a PAO match)
- Overall, it might be worth it for someone with over 150sqm and multiple floors, there yes. (between us, if you have 300sqm, you get a cleaning service, not a robot that speaks Chinese-English)
We got along, it was named "Harry I" (yes, a male name) and we are waiting to see if it will mate with an electric grill or if it will get polished by a juicer. Whatever it likes.
UPDATE FEB 23: It did a software update and now it cleans/mops with a different "path" than before. It used to make straight snake-like movements in the space, now it goes snake-like but not straight, it zigzags and covers the space better. Also, it understands better if a door closes during cleaning. Finally, if you put the base in a different socket in the house but obviously on the same floor, it will reposition and not need remapping.
By the way, it remapped itself twice in the odd and forced me to rearrange the rooms in the app, etc. Very annoying process btw.
I received it an hour ago. Unfortunately, when I was reading the reviews, I underestimated a recent review that mentioned the quality of the plastic water tank. So, I opened the package, everything was fine, the vacuum cleaner was in perfect condition externally, and during the preparation process for the big test, I decided to check the dust collection container to see its size. What I saw (which you can see in the attached photos) is simply unacceptable for a product of this price range. My first impression shows that it is an overpriced product that has a material failure "right out of the box" (I repeat that I just received it and it is not due to damage during transportation. It seems that the plastic used has completely failed, as it cracked before even being used, as if it were old, dry, low-quality plastic. I suspect that it occurred during the assembly stage). I will not mention here the details of returns or replacements, etc., as it is not related to the product itself. As a product, it deserves two stars because it is technologically advanced. I wouldn't be particularly concerned if the problem was in a point that would not cause further malfunction of the vacuum cleaner. However, where it is, if this specific component breaks completely, the vacuum cleaner is useless. Therefore, I searched the internet to see if there are replacement dust collection containers available in the market (so that I can decide whether to go for the same vacuum cleaner (replacement) or for another one (cancellation)). I will not write much about this because I MIGHT be wrong (personally, I DID NOT find such a replacement), but my advice to anyone interested is: before buying it, make sure that such a replacement is available in the Greek market. Dear XIAOMI, what I saw could be described as a BMW made with parts from the "EVERYTHING 1€" store. You should have made sure that THIS PARTICULAR container is made of high-quality plastic. Excellent for about 6 months and then gradually started to lose a lot of performance. It didn't suck like it did at first. I have discontinued it because it doesn't work at all anymore. I returned to the classic one that I have which I hadn't discontinued, I just used it less frequently. Very expensive for its quality. I do not recommend it.
To be used with the app, it requires access to the EXACT location of the mobile. From where to where? Since the vacuum maps, what does the mobile's GPS have to do with it... It goes straight to a server in China

Very nice robot vacuum, it does what is expected, which is basic floor cleaning. In no way does it replace a typical powerful handheld vacuum and mop. Due to the underfloor heating, I don't have carpets at home to give you feedback on that. The mopping mentioned is simply like passing a wet cloth over the floor to pick up dust and residues from the vacuuming. Nevertheless, it is one of the best purchases I made.
a quite good vacuum. it also does a bit of "half-mopping" because it doesn't do that very well. I have had it for 2 years, after each use its bin needs emptying as well as cleaning the rollers underneath because various things like hair get caught. also, the filter of the bin needs cleaning which doesn't clean easily without water, so it also needs drying to say we have a clean vacuum. every now and then it does a reset on its own and needs to map the space of the house from the beginning
I bought it from here and as long as it worked, I was quite satisfied. It broke a few months after the warranty expired (at 2 years). The dealership refuses to repair it [for a fee!] because after checking the serial number, they say they found out that the vacuum is a parallel import - I’ll set aside the rudeness of the employee. In short, the dealership is telling us that since we didn’t get our cut from the sale, we don’t want to take anything from the repair either, and we don’t want you to ever be our customer again. They also want you to throw away a potentially functional product and buy a new one. Congratulations, excellent approach, customer-centric, environmentally friendly, and above all, professional. It works flawlessly as long as you know what to do!! It doesn't handle carpets very well nor small objects that get stuck for fun!
I've had it for 3 years and I need to replace it now. It stops cleaning and shuts off by itself, sometimes in the middle and other times towards the end of the room. Where I used to set it to clean the whole house and was sure it would do a good job, now I have to put it in room by room and try many times for each one. Multiple resets, returning to factory settings, and uninstalling the app made no difference. It was very good for the first 2.5 years, now it's more of a hassle to use it than to clean the house myself.
It solved my hands! I haven't tried the mopping function. I only use it as a vacuum and I am very satisfied. It makes mapping easy and fast. Because it has a very small dustbin, I might choose to get the one with automatic emptying for greater convenience. If it's not a problem for you to empty it every 1-2 uses, then it's an ideal choice
One of the best vacuum cleaners! It saved my hands! Easy setup and works perfectly. I haven't tried the mopping yet.
In the beginning it sucked very well. For a few months now, it collects hair around the brush and doesn't absorb anything. I bought a new filter, no change. I sent it for service and they sent it back to me saying there is no problem. Big disappointment, wasted money.
During the first few months, it worked decently and went to most places. Now, a year later, it goes wherever it wants, it needs someone to guide it constantly. We use it very little now.
At first it was flawless, after about 2 years of operation it started acting weird, getting lost in the house, losing its base, and at some point it said it saw an obstacle and didn't move at all. Now it shows that it has a permanent 7% battery and it keeps going back to the same spots over and over again. It was good for as long as it lasted

For 500+ euros, I expected the mini bin to clean more easily. If you have pet hair or long hair in the house, they get tangled everywhere in its attachments and it takes a while to remove them by hand (!)
Also, the mobile application that connects the vacuum is a sloppy job and often gets stuck.
Not very satisfied, I expected better performance in vacuuming and especially in mopping, I hardly use it for mopping because it simply passes without any vibration to remove stains. What bothers me more, though, is that it gets stuck under the radiators, causing it to stop many times due to its height, it does the same thing under the couch..
The vacuum cleaner has been in my possession for the past 4 months and it operates almost daily.
During its first operation, the vacuum maps the space, creating a map/overview in the Mi Home app, which can then be easily modified by drawing different colors and names for each area of the house, allowing for individual cleaning. The app is overall very user-friendly and offers many customizable options for different programs based on space and time.
As for its functionality, the suction power is more than satisfactory. It easily collects debris from smooth surfaces and carpets, even reaching corners as the rotating brush extends beyond the perimeter. Initially, it cleans the perimeter of the space and then fills in the rest. From my experience so far, even in an apparently clean house, the dustbin fills up halfway.
The mopping function is essentially a pass with water and a microfiber cloth located on the bottom surface. It is not suitable for heavily soiled floors, but it effectively removes liquid stains on smooth surfaces. It is important to note that the vacuum does not accept wet floors in its container as it will damage it, according to Xiaomi.
In terms of maneuverability, the vacuum easily orients and moves around the space. Its height is small, allowing it to fit under furniture, and its perimeter is flexible, avoiding strong collisions with objects by gently touching and circling around them. I should note that the vacuum has enough power to drag small objects (if they are pushed away upon contact and not recognized as obstacles to go around) or to fit into tight spaces (such as under a chair, between its legs). It has no issues with carpets, whether they are thin or thick. The only problem I found is with thin, lightweight carpets that it may fold while passing over them, but it easily overcomes this by simply moving them.
The only two times the vacuum "got stuck" were when it climbed onto a pair of slippers and couldn't move because it was completely in the air, and when it sucked up the cord of a charger plugged into the socket.
Regarding cleaning and maintenance, all the components are detachable and can be easily cleaned. Most of them can be washed with water, and the consumable parts can be replaced after a long period of use. They are inexpensive and available in stores.
Overall, I consider it a good choice to keep the floors of the house at a good level of cleanliness, reducing the need for frequent vacuuming and mopping. After these months, I would say it is very convenient to have the vacuum operate in your absence and come back to a clean house. It is definitely not cheap, but its value is evident through everyday use.
Amazing vacuum cleaner... It sucks perfectly... It goes to all accessible areas... It climbs the legs of the table because I have a frame... The battery lasts very very very well for a 120 sqm house and still only reaches 80+... It works every morning by itself, every day for a month now... I also put it to mop after vacuuming, not at the same time for better efficiency... With daily use, vacuuming and mopping, I have saved a lot of time in my life... Important note, it is suitable for a house with not many furniture, so it can be effective without unfairly criticizing it... It really worth it for a busy and non-girly woman... You made your life easier...

Just because you get the Robot vacuum doesn't mean it will replace sweeping, it will just save you some time. Anyway, it can't clean the corners or the areas it can't fit into.
I haven't used it for mopping, I saw some videos that it breaks the plastic and I'm afraid it might cause damage.
When I get the "chills," I open the app (connect the vacuum to Wi-Fi) where I am and it starts "combing" the house. It has removed almost all the tassels from my carpet and sometimes when it straddles the microphone stand or when it gets stuck between the carpet and the wall, it stays there and needs help.
These are the few things. I got it as a gift for my stay-at-home mom and she brought it home because she didn't want to have anything on her feet or something to do the job for her, nor the noise of its operation, as she managed to avoid kicking it from the third floor, luckily.

I already had a mop 2 which I was very satisfied with. I bought this model because I thought it was an upgrade compared to the mop2 so since I was satisfied with the mop2 theoretically I would be even more satisfied with this one. It wasn't exactly like that, maybe in the end the mop2 is better, smoother in remote control, oddly enough I think it maps the house better, etc. Now I put them both to work together and the results are very good.
With 2 dogs inside the house that leave a lot of hair, it picks up all the hair and dust from the floor. We don't have an opinion on carpets as it was purchased during springtime. We are waiting for winter to see how it will perform. Overall, we are very satisfied.

Many times it goes off track and cleans as much as it wants and then 'gets tired' and returns (it has probably developed its own personality). I am very excited about the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 Pro. It is an excellent product that cleans my house effortlessly. I can only speak for floors without carpets because I don't have any in my house. I am very satisfied with the vacuuming, it was really useful because I have 2 dogs and they leave hair everywhere. Mopping is good for a refresh, but not for removing tough stains. Also, be aware that you cannot put any chemical substance in the tank, but as a solution, you can add any cleaning liquid you want directly to the mop. Additionally, remove the attachment for mopping when you don't need it, as it tends to accumulate hair and dirt and can ruin the overall cleaning experience.
It does not leave any dust, the house is cleaner than ever. It is not suitable for a house with many blind spots and difficult areas, low furniture, and many things, etc., because it cannot pass through and gets stuck. It solved my problem, although I struggled to put on exclusion zones, etc.

We bought 2, one for me (2 people with long hair at home) and one for my mother (2 people with short hair and a short-haired dog that sheds a lot all year round). It cleans the floor 200% except for a very small area in the corners where the side brush doesn't reach. It also cleans carpet-type rugs very well. Even with using it a few times a week, it keeps the house in very good condition; if you use it every day, it will clean once a month in detail. The mopping is 85-90% effective as it cannot scrub persistently in certain areas and it doesn't have detergent, but it is very honest for good cleanliness maintenance. It is very important that there are no cables or cords mainly on the floor as either it sucks them up or the side brush gets tangled and cannot overcome them, and it can get wrapped up in the curtain if it is too far away. Otherwise, nothing stops it at all.
The application is very easy and the instructions are clear.
The mapping is 10/10 and the targeted cleaning is also a very good feature.
