Revell: 1:72 Eurocopter EC 145 Builder's Choice

The Eurocopter EC145 is a modern German-French lightweight multi-purpose helicopter. It features a stable glide in the classic arrangement with a main rotor and a tail rotor on the beam. Propulsion is provided by two Turbomeca Arriel 1E2 engines. The flight of the first prototype took place in 1999 and serial production started in 2002.

The EC145 was initially manufactured under the name BK117 C2 in collaboration with MBB and Kawasaki. With the establishment of the Eurocopter group, the helicopter adopted its current name and was modernized. Compared to its predecessor, the EC145 has a slightly enlarged fuselage and a new main rotor.
