Flawless flashlight! Turbo mode "for hours." It neither heats up nor steps down, unlike the overwhelming majority of flashlights. It is in the hybrid category, which means it has both a wide beam for large area lighting and a spot for distance lighting. It leans more towards wide beam but has sufficient range close to 400 meters. With a little market research, one can understand that any other flashlight on the market with the same statistics is at double+ the price and has a fast step down, which is the huge downside of most flashlights. If you are not specifically looking for a pocket flashlight (or hunting where spot and often green tint are preferred), it is by far the top choice.
Accessories: flashlight, battery, small USB type C charging cable (without charger), wrist strap.
Size approximately 2 cm larger than a 50€ banknote.
Completely cylindrical shape that, if placed horizontally on inclined surfaces, will roll and end up on the ground.
The lighting color is cool white 6500K with a hot spot in the center of the beam (it is a flashlight mainly for throw beam and light flood).
The USB TYPE C charging port is located on the body of the flashlight, specifically on the neck section that is revealed after unscrewing it.
It does not have last mode memory: every time you press the switch, it turns on directly at 2000 lumens (be careful with use by small children - keep away from the eyes!) and you must select a lower intensity by lightly pressing the switch until the middle of its travel.
The high mode has a long runtime compared to the competition before automatically lowering the intensity.
Next modes are 560 lm > 200 lm > 25 lm > SOS.
The metal casing does not promise durability in case of a fall (it is not fake but not Nitecore either).
The battery is protected.
Waterproof protection IPX-7.
The front LED is not covered by crystal but by plastic (= susceptible to scratches)!!!
It has a battery level indicator.
The textured surface on the handle is not non-slip and serves only aesthetic purposes.
I have had it for several months now and I can say that it is a very good FLASHLIGHT!!! Not a little flashlight with turbo for 17.5 seconds? It comes with Xhp50.2 turbo at 2800 real lumens (xhp35 produces 2000 lm) and 60000cd (500m real range)!! Strong and harmonious illumination with a thick central beam and high intensity (60000cd). Compared to the Nitecore MH25S (sst40, 60000cd and 130 euros), the Xiaomi seems like a "little flashlight".... It is on the same level as the top all-around edc flashlight in the market, the Fenix C7 (sst70, 3000lm and 60000cd). It simply loses out due to its size and the tighter central beam of the C7, while it wins in terms of temperature and turbo runtime! I also did a good mod on the spring and it gained a little more brightness (+12%)? The light now, in practice, is a natural white (slightly yellowish) which I estimate to be around 5000K to 5700K, not 6500K (which is what the "cool white" sells as). It doesn't heat up, the brightness doesn't drop, it works for hours and for tough tasks. Its turbo mode also works with low battery voltage, which indicates a quality battery that is not a safety hazard as it should be for maximum performance! Now, with the mod and the high drain 26650 effest 4200mAh and 40A continuous, it's a different flashlight, guys (more current to the xhp50.2) but the driver stubbornly refuses, only at first, to accept such a current before eventually stabilizing on its own?!? It charges quickly with type C at 2A with a simple unscrewing of the head, without rubber caps that wear out over time. Smart driver from Nextool to operate the LED at 75% (the xhp50.2 can deliver over 4,000 lm), so that the mcpcb doesn't heat up as much, and therefore the flashlight itself, which has a lot of metal that helps with temperature! Excellent quality, finish, beautiful dual-tone design, and good size, you feel like you're holding a flashlight, guys, and for emergencies... Come on, because we're tired of "fingerlights" and we have forgotten what a flashlight means.... PS: I got it on sale for 40 euros from Greece. Value for money? The Xiaomi is value for money even for tough missions. The only downside I found is that the glass gets slightly foggy in freezing temperatures, at -10°C and below. This doesn't affect the flashlight or its brightness, but it's still a downside...
