From there on, the use is unpleasant. It throws crumbs from the popped popcorn everywhere, the hole for the popped popcorn to come out is too big and it flies everywhere, and the amount it makes is small (single serving). If you want to make it for more than one person, you have to be careful not to burn yourself the second time.
Also, cleaning is difficult: you have to put a damp cloth with soapy water inside the device.
On the outside, it constantly fills with crumbs from the popcorn since it throws them everywhere.

I don't know if I can attribute this to the negatives, but when the process is finished, I have to turn the machine upside down to let the last popcorn fall out.
Some might find the short cord a downside; in my case, it's just fine.
Also, another negative, but logically this happens with all machines, is that you can't add oil or butter; no matter how much you salt afterward, the salt doesn't stick to the popcorn.To conclude, for the first use, follow the instructions; don't just put corn in and start.

After getting tired of making popcorn in a pot the traditional way, I decided to be like a kid and get myself a popcorn maker that can make them on its own, mainly healthier and without the need to wash pots and related stuff. There aren't many options out there, so you choose a brand you trust and buy it. Since I didn't like the others aesthetically, I decided to go with the safe option, the black one.
Design and build quality:
Very nice exterior with black plastic that shows sturdy construction. On/off button at the bottom and a dispenser at the top.
Popcorn time:
It's not difficult at all in the process. It takes about 60 grams of popcorn at a time. You place the popcorn, press the button, and it starts making popcorn. Within 3 minutes, they're ready. You can put butter on top (not inside, you'll ruin it) while the popcorn is heating up so it's ready to pour at the end. But as we said at the beginning, we want it healthy, so no salt added :P.
Verdict:
If you're looking for something like this with a nice design, it should definitely be among your top choices.
