  After 5 years of use, I can say that I was not completely satisfied with this grill. The biggest drawback for me is that it cannot accommodate large quantities, for example, only 3 steaks, and they are cramped towards the center, as it does not heat up at all around the edges (not even warm), so you have to do a second and third "round", especially if you are hosting a gathering and have people at home. Perhaps it is aimed at young couples or for personal use by bachelors and not for families. Also, I should note that for my taste, it only achieved the desired result in full intensity, both in appearance and in taste and cooking time. Cleaning should be detailed and careful. In the end, one day during cooking (in the second round), it suddenly stopped working.

  As a user of charcoal and gas grills, I would say that this particular device exceeded expectations. It cooks very quickly, very well, and easily. The quality is incomparably better than that of oven cooking, similar to gas style, no comparison of course with charcoal.

  With so little money, you can easily and quickly eat a juicy steak.

  Because it produces a lot of smoke, it is better to be used on the balcony.

  It disappointed me, as it was barely used for testing before I considered buying it, by a colleague who "abandoned" it from the beginning because he always grills on charcoal. I will focus on the following: If you are like me, a fanatic of "everything on charcoal", do not expect it to even come close to the same result. Fortunately, I tried it and rejected it. To understand, whatever you put on the cast iron grill (meat - fish) will look more like it came out of the oven! Okay... slightly better, but I wonder why some claim that "it's like charcoal". Obviously, they have no alternative experiences.
  So, grills with the classic stainless steel grill and the heating element underneath, even with 20 euros (yes, you read that right, with 20 euros), for this job, are the best and by far!!! The previous ones I had in the last 10-15 years were of this type and they were so successful that I practically rendered the charcoal grill useless (I only use it now for gatherings with friends). In the meantime - still on the same topic with charcoal - I would use those old school Greek-made metal grills that close with a lid on top, to which the heating element is attached (the latter is actually above the grill). This specific Rohnson here, and obviously the similar ones with the integrated heating element on the grill, come... last and sweaty. I note that sometime around 20 years ago, I also had a "cast iron" Rohnson, but the model with a full grill (without a plate). It was a big disappointment compared to my later purchases (that's why I mentioned experience earlier).
  Anyway... final evaluation on the R250 here: I give it one star because it is a quality construction and another one because it is (relatively) easy to clean.
  Oh! Last - but - not - least, compared to the previous (very good) 20 euro grill that I had in the last 5-6 years, it takes a long time, very long to grill - it takes twice as long! - maybe because of the thermostat (which of course, you can disable by interfering with the electrical circuit, so that it doesn't blink every now and then).

  Very good barbecue for BBQ enthusiasts. It is very good as long as you know how to use it correctly. I have been grilling on a Weber gas grill for years and I follow the same process, with the only difference being that it takes about twice as long. The rules are simple but must always be followed. 1. Preheat the grill for 10 minutes. 2. Place the meat and grill each side separately and completely with the lid always closed. Do not open the lid frequently to check, although this is more of a matter of experience. That is, how long each type of meat needs to cook. For example, a boneless chicken thigh or veal fillet takes about 10 minutes on each side. For someone with less grilling experience, a thermometer inserted into the meat during cooking would be helpful to monitor it. If the meat needs more cooking time after 10 minutes, turn it over and leave it for an additional 2-3 minutes on each side. Generally, if used correctly, you will end up with a well-grilled meat with the familiar BBQ lines on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Many mention that the lid "helps," but the point is that the lid is not there to help, but simply because that's how the grill works. It is not an accessory to be used if desired, but to be used always. For meat, set the thermostat to the highest setting and you will be fine. I believe that most of the negative reviews are due to a lack of knowledge (unless they concern bad service, etc.). It requires patience. It is not an electric appliance where you press a button and get a ready-made meal. It requires passion and perseverance for good results, just like any BBQ device, whether gas, charcoal, or electric. Finally, I would like to mention that all parts are very easy to clean.

  After about 9 months since I bought the grill, I removed one star from the evaluation because grilling fish was a bit disappointing. I have grilled fish several times and what I have to say is that every time they stick to the grill, resulting in the fish falling apart. I have put oil on the grill and brushed oil on the fish, but it still stuck.
  It does a pretty good job with vegetables and meat, but you have to constantly keep the lid on because otherwise it doesn't reach the right temperature.

  After about 8 months of use, I can say that: it grills fish (mainly sea bream) quite well, although sometimes when I rush to turn them over, they fall apart... the steaks and burgers are satisfactory... it is tiring to clean (I don't have a dishwasher).. just like frying pans, they clean easily at first and then gradually become more difficult... but for the price, it's okay... next time I will go back to the classic grill with grates and resistances.

  After 4 to 5 grilling sessions, I can say the following... Perfect grilling in a short time. It keeps the meat juicy and it remains the same the next day. Quick and easy cleaning and quality construction. The only downside I found is that it has a shallow tray for the fats, which results in the juices spilling if you fill it with water up to the maximum level during transportation of the grill. Because the grill rack is on top, you don't have a clear view inside the tray. So, just a little water inside because otherwise, everything will be a mess... Only that.

  Quality construction with a lid, but very slow in cooking and the half surface for vegetables cooks even slower. Prefer a simple grill with a single surface without many frills, even without a lid. The goal is to cook quickly. With 30-40 euros, you can get a decent grill with high wattage and eat immediately.!!!!   I borrowed the grill from a friend to cook on May Day 2020 and I was very satisfied. I grilled steaks and souvlaki on the first level to prevent them from burning and I adjusted the temperature when the green light went off. The cooking space was satisfactory.
  What impressed me was that the food was juicy and tender even the next day, thanks to the glass lid. On charcoal grills, the food tends to become tough the next day.
  It is a bit heavy but easy to clean. Very practical for an apartment and balcony and relatively convenient in size. It is also energy-efficient.

  I consider it the best value for money in electric grills only. I do not compare it to other categories for obvious reasons. However, size is relative, so the user decides and not me. For me, it is satisfactory for a family of four. If I want to have a party, of course, it is not enough.   Kids, words are unnecessary!!! Excellent in baking, especially with the lid closed!!! Before preheating it, you brush it with a little oil, preheat it for 5 minutes, and in 40 minutes I made a whole Easter meal for 10 people. Its smooth surface bakes faster while the grill is for kids and such. Indeed, the only but negligible issue is that the letters faded. I carry it to every house and we bake everything!!! Value for money at 50-60 euros where you find it instead of the initial 80-85. The glass lid is the whole deal!!!

  I have it for about 2 months now. I am very satisfied, it is a grill that heats up quickly and cooks very well. It is a quality construction with a glass lid. As for cooking, it always depends on the person handling it. It definitely requires some training, so far I have cooked almost all meats, some turned out well, some not, but that's on me. Thanks to the reviews here, I use the lid (because I wouldn't even think of it myself) and fortunately it helps a lot with the cooking. Overall, I am very satisfied, both with the cooking and with the cleaning, which is quite easy. Also, I always line the tray with aluminum foil, which makes cleaning much easier. The only frustrating thing is that the letters on the handle with the notes for cooking faded immediately... Anyway, I already recommend it to friends!

  As a charcoal grilling enthusiast, I wanted a solution for quick and small-scale electric grilling for emergency situations. After a lot of searching on the internet, I ended up with this one because of its certain features. Like the grill, the built-in resistance, the quality of its construction. The only thing left was to test it in real conditions. After 4 grilling sessions, I have only good things to say, as I was completely satisfied! I grilled beef sirloin (30'), kebabs (15-20'), thick pork souvlaki from the pan (20-25'), vegetables cut in half (10-15'), the grill needs 8-10 minutes of preheating and with not too fast turns, the desired result is achieved. I highly recommend it for use by 4 people as a quick and easy solution!!

  I have it for 3 years, it is a quite high-quality construction. The truth is that I struggled to achieve good grilling because it doesn't need the temperature to be at maximum as it burns the food and leaves the meat uncooked inside. (I have never grilled fish) It needs the temperature to be slightly lower than maximum first and then, after you see that it has been cooked, you can increase it for finishing. The only negative thing is that it doesn't grill evenly on the whole plate and you have to change the area where you grill. However, it is quite powerful and the grilling time is relatively fast for an electric grill. Also, the lid helps a lot, you cover it and let it do the job. Now, as for cleaning, it is easy.

  I bought it 6 months ago and so far I haven't had any technical issues, so my review does NOT concern the service (hopefully I will never need it). The grill is heavy and of good quality construction, with the heating elements well covered and with a thermostat on the plug/power supply, which can be removed and cannot be washed with the grill. The cooking surface is non-stick and easy to clean, while the manual claims that it can also be put in the dishwasher, which I have not verified (because the construction is bulky and, additionally, I never put appliances with electric resistors in the dishwasher). The grilling is perfect and fully controlled through the heavy glass lid. It is very easy to use, even without the help of the manual, as it has an integrated thermostat - but also printed on its frame - all the recommended cooking settings. It also has a tray (equally well-made) to collect grease, cooking residues, etc. Overall, it is a serious, sturdy, and high-quality construction that is visually appealing and works perfectly. I repeat: my evaluation does not concern the service (which I have read the worst about) and due to this reason alone, I reserve my judgment and give it 4 stars.

  I had it for 2 years... I grilled every single day due to my diet...
  I have grilled tons of meat and I was really satisfied...
  Speed, taste 10 out of 10... the only negative thing I found is that it didn't grill with the same power in all areas... of course, I changed sides on the meat when I flipped them so I didn't have a problem... 4 out of 5 from me just for this reason... It's definitely worth the 50 euros

  I have had it for 6 years and so far it hasn't had any issues. I usually grill meat and vegetables regularly. Due to the integration of the heating elements in the grill, which I think is a point that you should consider during market research (and not below it), it grills evenly. I consider it more than sufficient for household use, especially with the current price (I bought it for 70 euros). Cleaning it is a bit difficult and that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

  I am completely satisfied. I grilled souvlaki, pork chops, steaks, meatballs, sausages, kebabs, mushrooms, and vegetables. Everything was very good, under the hood, comfortably and without odors. It also has enough space on the plate next to the grill. I highly recommend it. It is value for money for an electric grill, along with the glass lid that keeps the moisture of the meat, it is one of my best purchases. We had stopped eating steaks and grilled food in general because they didn't turn out well in the oven. I made some amazing, tasty, tender, and fragrant pork chops. I really wonder about the negative comments. I can't wait to use it for camping in the summer. I clean it with a damp kitchen paper and then with warm water, it's easier than cleaning any other cooking utensil. I'm amazed. One detail is that it has a taller baking tray, unlike the izzy which is 1 centimeter, meaning the thick pork chops I buy fit and cook perfectly, they wouldn't fit in the izzy. A friend has a grill with a grill grate, the washing situation is tragic, don't get one with a grate, get the Rohnson with a plate and you will remember me.
