The alarm works perfectly and does its job exceptionally well. It is easy to program. Its siren on (HIGH-setting via the app) is very loud. Highly recommended.
The truth is that no matter how much I read and searched, it doesn't connect to the internet as easily as advertised for an 80-meter range. If it's in an open space, maybe it works, but if there are rooms, walls, etc., it has a big problem with the signal. Some sensors, even though you have set them to only activate when the alarm is armed, due to a mistake in the application, they detect a different setting and end up triggering when you open the door, even if the alarm is not armed, which can be very frustrating. With all these problems, it's not worth it
I was thrilled!
I bought this device (55€), along with the WS-280 siren (45€), the PIR-910 motion sensor (24.4€), and three additional DWC-102 sensors (12.2€ each), and with 160€ I set up a complete alarm system.
The additional peripherals connect easily on the first try and work perfectly with the central unit OV-300.
The only downside is that it could have included an extra remote control in the package (unfortunately, not all elderly people are familiar with Android Apps).
Fortunately, one can purchase them separately.
Owner of the previous G5 alarm system, which uses a SIM card and the cost increases significantly, I decided to get this one that uses WiFi. It is good and easy to connect, and it works with the previous wireless sensors. It also has an app where you can adjust everything. The only downside is that it doesn't call you, but you hear a message sound. It should have better and more noticeable notification on the phone when a violation occurs. That's the only negative thing I can find. Otherwise, it is very good.
VFM. Reliable alarm, perfect for its cost. The sensors work great. It is easily programmable and you can be sure that it is armed, as you have set it. Recommended.
Bought it for 47 euros. I have had it for a month. I check it on a daily basis. It was easily and quickly installed with the DreamCatcher Life application. I had no idea about connectors and installation, but I didn't encounter any problems. The instructions definitely help a lot. It's almost plug and play. It hasn't triggered any fake alarms. I have also added 2 extra remote controls very easily and a CHUANGO SAFEHOME SH-PIR910 INDOOR MOTION SENSOR for indoor detection, which immediately detects within 2 meters. I don't know if I place it at 4-5 meters if it will be as sensitive in capturing. Its built-in siren that comes with this kit is not particularly loud, but it is satisfactory for a closed space as long as you are in close proximity to hear it when it goes off. The mobile application will notify you immediately as long as the Wi-Fi is connected to the kit at that moment. Every time you arm and disarm the alarm either from the mobile or the remote control, you receive a notification. Wi-Fi is needed for notifications, activation, deactivation, and the SOS button from the application, otherwise, the remote control will be needed. The alarm will function from the moment you put it into operation, even if there is no Wi-Fi signal, it will trigger if it detects an intrusion, but you won't receive a notification. Most likely, you will receive it later when the Wi-Fi signal returns in case it is lost. The unit is excellent and does not lose signal on its own, if that happens, it will be the router's fault. Adding an extra, more powerful and effective siren is definitely necessary, and the recommended one is the CHUANGO wireless Strobe WS-280 outdoor siren, in red, for around 46 euros, and it is better to place it a little distance from the wall to make the siren sound louder since it is at the back (most alarm sirens are at the front and are waterproof, obviously, but they don't cost 46 euros!!!) Overall, it is simple and does its job without needing to spend a lot of money. It has a wide variety of accessories at good prices. I highly recommend it.
Small but miraculous for basic home security. When I first installed it, I was discouraged by the intensity of the siren, but after about a week, I discovered (advanced settings) that it also has a high intensity that disturbs people. The dreamcatcher application is quite good with many settings and easy installation, and of course notifications. I also got an imitation control which I programmed with the original one and it works fine. The only mistake I made was with the door sensor, which I stuck with the provided 3m tape and at some point it came off, causing it to fall and break. So if you get it, it's better to screw it onto the casing using the holes it has.
